“I have been in Eugene for about 3 years now, and am always inspired by all the new food pop-ups that I discover—The Tie Died Chef is no exception. I have eaten there twice, and on both occasions, I was greeted by a tie-died chef and good vibes—very on brand.Okay, the food…typically I would just leave a 4-5 Star Review, and walk away—but this place has 5 star potential, imo. So, here are my recommendations:1) home-make the sides. you’re already in the game, might as well commit.2) create a amazing homemade sauce for the burgers and patty melts (on both occasions, I would have died for a drop of ketchup, or sauce—esp, on the patty melt). You’re slinging so much beef—there has to be something—I would settle for a couple pickles Haha.3) gotta seasons the burgers/melts a little salt and pepper, or johnnys. “My home away from home. I’ve worked in a lot of establishments as a host and as an employee at all levels. This makes me a little picky about strange things like, employee retention, a love and involvement from owners, a mutual respect among employees, excellence in service, attention to details. Last but not least- knowing their customers- how they like how what when and where is remembered and held somewhat sacred. Being a regular here is being part of a family as staff or clientele. “I have always been a fan of dining at Black Wolf Supper Club since I moved to Eugene 2 years ago. My most recent visit last Saturday evening, however, was more enjoyable than any previous experience, The new menu is intriguing and fun to navigate, with extensive options yet still neatly contained on one page. The food presentation is, quite simply, very pretty. Artistic colored powders, and attractive plate ware kept me entertained. The food was all delicious, each dish had its own very distinguishable flavors and enough texture variance to keep me eating, even though I was very full near the end of the meal. The service was extremely friendly, accommodating, creative and warm, how service is meant to be, duh!!! These young women all impressed me! Thank you. And thank you to the Chef for delivering our moules frites, (which were the best mussels I can remember having, perfectly plump), and checking in with us on a busy weekend night!! “I just wanted to say that Doug’s Burger moved to Lane community college and I have yet to find a consistently decent burger in the Eugene/Springfield area. I miss their food. I miss their people. I hope that things are going well at LCC, but would celebrate if they opened a place that was more accessible to those who were not at LCC.“

“We had a company event at The Pub at Laurelwood. After having worked and visited Eugene many times, the golf course and Pub location was a refreshing surprise. It is tucked in the hills, gorgeous trees and stunning views from The Pub exterior seating. The atmosphere is super super causal, staff is welcoming and helpful. We had a catered meal and they set it up so quickly. Food was your traditional pub food - yummy comfort food. The staff were all so gracious, quick with filling drink orders and they didn't mind our ruckus group. I did not golf but the co-workers that did loved it. It was also a sunny hot day in October so that made it even better!“

“I went here last night and had the slider burgers. Which were very good. My only disappointment was finding out the French fries were frozen from the store and getting charged $7. My burger also had no B2 sauce either. if you guys really want to stand out you should probably stop ordering Mass amounts of french fries and then charging people a ton of money when I can just go to the store and buy an entire bag for the same price. I also recommend peeling and cutting your own potatoes to make french fries, I think that would make you guys stand out. “We decided last night to try a new spot we haven't had before and Calzones just sounded like they'd hit the spot. Thankfully we went on Tuesday, so we took advantage of the $14 for 2 Calzone Deal and ended up trying three different flavors. The portions are very generous for the price and they give you plenty of dipping sauce. Next time we are going to pick another 2-3 flavors and try the cookies which I could smell from the street walking up. Service was very fast and kind, and the team was cracking jokes and working really well together when we walked in.“

The employee by the name of Anna was so helpful, and even listened to me as I complained about my upcoming inprisonment.
