Seize the Cafe is a limited seating restaurant in an aging strip mall that has probably some of the best food in Eugene. We were lucky enough to snag an early evening table the same day we called, and we arrived to find a small restaurant with about 10 tables, all of which were in sight of the kitchen's plating table. Chad is beyond amazing. Eugeneians are so fortunate that he chose our town to display his talents, gracing us with the best restaurant since Brendan closed Belly years ago. Thank you Chad! Pul-ease stay a long time!!?

I so want to love this place. The food is really good, the location works for me, and I love the casual atmosphere. But I've eaten there twice, and while I've really enjoyed it both times, I can't help but to feel a little disappointed. It could be great - but, for me, so far, it isn't. Still, I'll be back.
