Not even a call. How do you make an entire cake order that is gluten free and it pass any of safety measures. Her name was on the cake.. Completely reckless.”

“Came in on a weekend near the end of brunch for vegan birthday dinner in town. Ordered the autumn hash and mom had banana buckwheat pancakes. She said she has never had better buckwheat pancakes! The hash was amazing as well, whatever aioli whip they had on top was incredible! Ordered the mushroom biscuits and gravy and the dinner forager’s pie to go, as the staff was kind enough to allow me to order a dinner order to go since we were close enough to their dinner service. I have never had better biscuits and gravy! The forager’s pie was incredible as well! All in all an amazing meal for three meals in a row! Staff was friendly and amazing”

With crispy and juicy shredded pork, ham, cheese and pickles squished to deliciousness. And the perfect amout of mustard... the mustard is what makes it for me! With a side kale ceasar, a perfect pairing. Hubby had the Ruben, with house made pastrami and saurkrawt. Not too sour, on a marbled rye. He loved it. Son had a grilled chicken club with parmesagn garlic fries. Another win! We all drank their homemade ginger ale and root beer.”

This makes me a little picky about strange things like, employee retention, a love and involvement from owners, a mutual respect among employees, excellence in service, attention to details. Last but not least- knowing their customers- how they like how what when and where is remembered and held somewhat sacred. Being a regular here is being part of a family as staff or clientele. As long as I have breath in my body and they will have me I will host a show here for my own sanity and well being. More places should pay attention to how these people do business on all ends. Got the warrior game on l, smiled and hustled. Her other bartender in red plaid shirt seemed bothered never cracking a smile….female bartender took care of entire bar! Deserves raise. “This little food cart has great food and very friendly service. It's located in the Whittaker neighborhood right across the street from Ninkasi's tasting room. They have Tacos, burritos, quesadillas, etc. All of the meals I've had from here have been fresh, hot, and tasty. Prices are fair, especially for the freshness and quality of the food.

Parking: It's in a neighborhood, so street parking within walking distance is the best option.”

“Stay Woke is hands down my favorite coffee in town. Everything I've tried has been delicious and not overly sweet. I like my coffee drinks to still taste like coffee. The witch's brew is my fav. Also, they use coffee icecubes in their iced coffees! The staff is fantastic. You can tell they all enjoy working there. Fun and playful but not the in your face corporate mandated customer service type of way. 100% recommendation.”

“This is by far the most premium coffee to be had in Oregon. These are lovingly crafted, original recipes that taste great. She uses distilled milk, which is a nightmare to make and time-intensive; it and the banana milk are delicious. The Strawberry Alarm Clock with banana milk is my go-to and highly recommended. The coffee is real coffee and very bitter, but it has to be to mix with the other ingredients. Trust me, they are formulated correctly. Coffee perfection takes time, however, so do be patient as it isn’t quite as time efficient as Starbucks. You will see why people are willing to wait, however. This place is likely the closest thing you’re going to get to a crazy Japanese premium coffee house in the Pacific Northwest, and you won’t regret trying it—except for that you’ll want it again and again!”
