“I went out looking for a cheesecake for my husbands 50th birthday. the place I knew to go to couldn't get it done when I wanted. that's how I found Abilities Diner and Bakery. I had heard about this place but didn't know where it was. I was so happy to notice it when I was driving by. they were able to get my order when I wanted it. thank you.“

“Struggled with food this month, being between jobs. Life happens, glad places like this exist so people in the community can get a leg up. Even provided us unexpired formula which was a blessing. The food is good and they treat you like a human being, regardless of your status in the community.“

“Vacationing here from Jersey until 4/17. Been several times and the food has always been great! Will go back until I leave for home. Great servers but one stands out in particular and I can’t mention her name. She is the sassy one and has a great personality and many endearing qualities. She has more charm than Mr. Rockefeller has shares of Exxon! Her name rhymes with messy!“
“George and Donna are wonderful people. The atmosphereis right out of the 50's. The food is excellent and the portions are huge for the price. Breakfast and coffee was under $8. Bring cash, credit and debit cards are not accepted just like in the 50's!“

“This is a old time small NOT-fancy place that is awesome!! The coffee was wonderful, the service was spot on and my eggs, cubes of seasoned fried potatoes and the sausage links made the breakfast perfect!! LARGE amounts of food.. Great for sharing!! We will definitely be back when we come through Eugene!!“
