“This is my new favorite restaurant! I have a dairy allergy and almost cried when I realized that I could actually order biscuits and gravy, french toast, and even nachos off of their regular menu. If you have a special dietary need, tell them and the staff is so understanding. They have amazing vegan pastries. The vegan chocolate croissants are to die for! I live two hours away, but will return to Eugene again and again to try everything on their menu.“

“It really is that good! Consistent, delicious, filling, affordable. So simple and done soo well. Feed 2 people for under $20 and spend the rest of your money playing pachinko :) I love the 80’s cafe vibes, the exceptionally friendly service, and how clean it is all the time. Everything we’ve tried has been fantastic, but I think about the lentil bowl almost every single day. Amazing!!! Go now!!!!“

“The food was fantastic! I had the waffles and they were perfectly crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. The lemon curd and whipped cream were perfect! Other people had the BBQ sandwich, couscous salad and tomato soup and everyone was happy. Only thing is they forgot a salad we ordered. And even though we told them right after we got our food, they didn't seem to expedite it ahead of other orders. We ended up finishing all our food and waiting for 15-20mins after eating. In the end, we had to leave without it bcz it was taking so long. Of course, they removed it from the bill, but it was annoying that it took so long and we ended up getting something from Taco Bell to get that person something to eat. That being said, food was fantastic and so I still say 5 stars. Hopefully that was an exceptional mixup.“

“I went out looking for a cheesecake for my husbands 50th birthday. the place I knew to go to couldn't get it done when I wanted. that's how I found Abilities Diner and Bakery. I had heard about this place but didn't know where it was. I was so happy to notice it when I was driving by. they were able to get my order when I wanted it. thank you.“

Today I came for the free SNAP meal, as I work long hours for low pay in the music industry as a single dad supporting my daughter, and the loss is significant. If there's any complaint, it's not much but we often have to wait a long time for our food - most of the dishes are served but there's always a dish ...... that isn't served.“

“I ordered 5 pupusas for my partner and I. 3 were mixed and 2 were chicken. They were delightful, delicious and consistent.

I’m no expert on pupusas but I believe they could have a little more filling in them but still very worth it to me.

I also really enjoyed the hot sauce / salsa that came with it. It was actually hot for once. Not watered down to cater to the folks that can’t handle heat.

“I love this restaurant. I've been going here for years. I always recommend it to people that are looking for a great locally owned gem, have just moved here or are visiting. I love the authentic Italian food. And the building is a very cool older house with a great feel to it. I think its very romantic and a nice place to treat yourself/loved ones. Its privately owned by 2 Italian gentleman. Hence the name. Sometimes they will be at the restaurant and are very friendly and fun to talk to. I highly recommend.“

We finally found the gem in the corner of 18th and Chambers. It is called the Angkor Cafe. The food is absolutely amazing. People you got to put this place on your next stop. “Oh my god... the poutine!!! My first time.. and yes, a die and go to heaven moment. Fries smothered in gravy with cheese curds! We just ate at Falling Sky Brewing I had the most luscious cubano! With crispy and juicy shredded pork, ham, cheese and pickles squished to deliciousness. And the perfect amout of mustard... the mustard is what makes it for me! With a side kale ceasar, a perfect pairing. Hubby had the Ruben, with house made pastrami and saurkrawt. Not too sour, on a marbled rye. He loved it. Son had a grilled chicken club with parmesagn garlic fries. Another win! We all drank their homemade ginger ale and root beer.“

Ive never had a bad experience and after today i will always support them. Usually at different establishment i get the stink eye or a huge upcharge and they never blink an eye here.
