“This place has some of the best Oregon style Pizza, chicken and JoJo's. it's more similar to Pietro's than Pappas and was just a really good pizza. Got a Hawaiian Pizza and pepperoni and black olive Pizza as well, both were excellent. The chicken was juicy and well seasoned, jojos were delicious with the ranch dressing. The kid's play place is ok better than Pappas. We'll be back for sure“

“This is my new favorite restaurant! I have a dairy allergy and almost cried when I realized that I could actually order biscuits and gravy, french toast, and even nachos off of their regular menu. If you have a special dietary need, tell them and the staff is so understanding. They have amazing vegan pastries. The vegan chocolate croissants are to die for! I live two hours away, but will return to Eugene again and again to try everything on their menu.“

“It really is that good! Consistent, delicious, filling, affordable. So simple and done soo well. Feed 2 people for under $20 and spend the rest of your money playing pachinko :) I love the 80’s cafe vibes, the exceptionally friendly service, and how clean it is all the time. Everything we’ve tried has been fantastic, but I think about the lentil bowl almost every single day. Amazing!!! Go now!!!!“

“The food was fantastic! I had the waffles and they were perfectly crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. The lemon curd and whipped cream were perfect! Other people had the BBQ sandwich, couscous salad and tomato soup and everyone was happy. Only thing is they forgot a salad we ordered. And even though we told them right after we got our food, they didn't seem to expedite it ahead of other orders. We ended up finishing all our food and waiting for 15-20mins after eating. In the end, we had to leave without it bcz it was taking so long. Of course, they removed it from the bill, but it was annoying that it took so long and we ended up getting something from Taco Bell to get that person something to eat. That being said, food was fantastic and so I still say 5 stars. Hopefully that was an exceptional mixup.“

“I went out looking for a cheesecake for my husbands 50th birthday. the place I knew to go to couldn't get it done when I wanted. that's how I found Abilities Diner and Bakery. I had heard about this place but didn't know where it was. I was so happy to notice it when I was driving by. they were able to get my order when I wanted it. thank you.“

Today I came for the free SNAP meal, as I work long hours for low pay in the music industry as a single dad supporting my daughter, and the loss is significant. Slow to take drink orders, which were wrong when they finally arrived. Waited a long time to have our order taken & waited even longer for food to come. Food portions were large but tasted funny? Likely won’t be back though unless we’re conveniently in the area.“

“This is a old time small NOT-fancy place that is awesome!! The coffee was wonderful, the service was spot on and my eggs, cubes of seasoned fried potatoes and the sausage links made the breakfast perfect!! LARGE amounts of food.. Great for sharing!! “This is one of my favorite dinner spots! I super love the ginger goji berry tea served in the winter. I also love the beef noodle soup with sauerkraut here. I also love the chili oil dumplings and cucumber salad here. If there's any complaint, it's not much but we often have to wait a long time for our food - most of the dishes are served but there's always a dish ...... that isn't served.“

“I ordered 5 pupusas for my partner and I. 3 were mixed and 2 were chicken. They were delightful, delicious and consistent.

I’m no expert on pupusas but I believe they could have a little more filling in them but still very worth it to me.

I also really enjoyed the hot sauce / salsa that came with it. It was actually hot for once. Not watered down to cater to the folks that can’t handle heat.

We finally found the gem in the corner of 18th and Chambers. It is called the Angkor Cafe. The food is absolutely amazing. People you got to put this place on your next stop. “I love this restaurant. I've been going here for years. I always recommend it to people that are looking for a great locally owned gem, have just moved here or are visiting. I love the authentic Italian food. And the building is a very cool older house with a great feel to it. I think its very romantic and a nice place to treat yourself/loved ones. “Oh my god... the poutine!!! My first time.. and yes, a die and go to heaven moment. Fries smothered in gravy with cheese curds! We just ate at Falling Sky Brewing I had the most luscious cubano! With crispy and juicy shredded pork, ham, cheese and pickles squished to deliciousness. And the perfect amout of mustard... the mustard is what makes it for me! With a side kale ceasar, a perfect pairing. Hubby had the Ruben, with house made pastrami and saurkrawt. Not too sour, on a marbled rye. He loved it. Son had a grilled chicken club with parmesagn garlic fries. Another win! We all drank their homemade ginger ale and root beer.“

“We went two nights in a row during the Northwest Tandem Rally. First night we were 10 and Logan was a pro - patient with answering our questions and giving us separate checks. Every person loved what they ordered from salad to rice and beans to the poblano (so good) to salmon. The next night we were 14 and service was JUST as good and the food was excellent again - sweet potato fries were so tasty (I had steak - perfectly cooked). Price was great and alcohol was really reasonably priced! ($30 for a bottle of white) Highly highly recommend if you find yourself in Cottage Grove.“

“How many times have you thought to yourself? I would love an actual pizza that has, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles style cheese, but nobody makes it like that. Look no more at 40, I’ve been eating here my whole life and I will always get this pizza before any other type of pizza. The crust, the cheese, the atmosphere, the taste, there really is nothing like it. PS if you’re a Canadian bacon and pineapple person, this will be the best you ever had. These pizzas are the bees, actual bending knees.“

“My home away from home. I’ve worked in a lot of establishments as a host and as an employee at all levels. This makes me a little picky about strange things like, employee retention, a love and involvement from owners, a mutual respect among employees, excellence in service, attention to details. Last but not least- knowing their customers- how they like how what when and where is remembered and held somewhat sacred. Being a regular here is being part of a family as staff or clientele. As long as I have breath in my body and they will have me I will host a show here for my own sanity and well being. More places should pay attention to how these people do business on all ends.
