“This place has some of the best Oregon style Pizza, chicken and JoJo's. it's more similar to Pietro's than Pappas and was just a really good pizza. Got a Hawaiian Pizza and pepperoni and black olive Pizza as well, both were excellent. The chicken was juicy and well seasoned, jojos were delicious with the ranch dressing. The kid's play place is ok better than Pappas. We'll be back for sure“

“This is my new favorite restaurant! I have a dairy allergy and almost cried when I realized that I could actually order biscuits and gravy, french toast, and even nachos off of their regular menu. If you have a special dietary need, tell them and the staff is so understanding. They have amazing vegan pastries. The vegan chocolate croissants are to die for! I live two hours away, but will return to Eugene again and again to try everything on their menu.“

“We went in and had the lentil bowl, tofu salad, burger, and wedges for about $20. This is definitely a hidden gem for locals looking to have a tasty vegan meal made with simple ingredients at an affordable price. The tofu was deliciously fried and the cashew cheese was so tasty (in its own league). This is a great place to grab a quick healthy meal, that still feels like you are eating at home.“

Today I came for the free SNAP meal, as I work long hours for low pay in the music industry as a single dad supporting my daughter, and the loss is significant. This would be a great restaurant if was tucked away in a more private location. It deserves better than to be on a busy highway in a strip mall.“

Slow to take drink orders, which were wrong when they finally arrived. Waited a long time to have our order taken & waited even longer for food to come. Food portions were large but tasted funny? Likely won’t be back though unless we’re conveniently in the area.“

The coffee was wonderful, the service was spot on and my eggs, cubes of seasoned fried potatoes and the sausage links made the breakfast perfect!! LARGE amounts of food.. Great for sharing!! “This is one of my favorite dinner spots! I super love the ginger goji berry tea served in the winter. I also love the beef noodle soup with sauerkraut here. I also love the chili oil dumplings and cucumber salad here. If there's any complaint, it's not much but we often have to wait a long time for our food - most of the dishes are served but there's always a dish ...... that isn't served.“

“I ordered 5 pupusas for my partner and I. 3 were mixed and 2 were chicken. They were delightful, delicious and consistent.

I’m no expert on pupusas but I believe they could have a little more filling in them but still very worth it to me.

I also really enjoyed the hot sauce / salsa that came with it. It was actually hot for once. Not watered down to cater to the folks that can’t handle heat.

We finally found the gem in the corner of 18th and Chambers. It is called the Angkor Cafe. The food is absolutely amazing. People you got to put this place on your next stop. “Oh my god... the poutine!!! My first time.. and yes, a die and go to heaven moment. Fries smothered in gravy with cheese curds! We just ate at Falling Sky Brewing I had the most luscious cubano! With crispy and juicy shredded pork, ham, cheese and pickles squished to deliciousness. And the perfect amout of mustard... the mustard is what makes it for me! With a side kale ceasar, a perfect pairing. Hubby had the Ruben, with house made pastrami and saurkrawt. Not too sour, on a marbled rye. He loved it. Son had a grilled chicken club with parmesagn garlic fries. Another win! We all drank their homemade ginger ale and root beer.“

“I love this restaurant. I've been going here for years. I always recommend it to people that are looking for a great locally owned gem, have just moved here or are visiting. I love the authentic Italian food. And the building is a very cool older house with a great feel to it. I think its very romantic and a nice place to treat yourself/loved ones. Its privately owned by 2 Italian gentleman. Hence the name. Sometimes they will be at the restaurant and are very friendly and fun to talk to. I highly recommend.“

Ive never had a bad experience and after today i will always support them. Usually at different establishment i get the stink eye or a huge upcharge and they never blink an eye here. “We went two nights in a row during the Northwest Tandem Rally. First night we were 10 and Logan was a pro - patient with answering our questions and giving us separate checks. Every person loved what they ordered from salad to rice and beans to the poblano (so good) to salmon. The next night we were 14 and service was JUST as good and the food was excellent again - sweet potato fries were so tasty (I had steak - perfectly cooked). Price was great and alcohol was really reasonably priced! ($30 for a bottle of white) Highly highly recommend if you find yourself in Cottage Grove.“

“How many times have you thought to yourself? I would love an actual pizza that has, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles style cheese, but nobody makes it like that. Look no more at 40, I’ve been eating here my whole life and I will always get this pizza before any other type of pizza. The crust, the cheese, the atmosphere, the taste, there really is nothing like it. PS if you’re a Canadian bacon and pineapple person, this will be the best you ever had. These pizzas are the bees, actual bending knees.“

This makes me a little picky about strange things like, employee retention, a love and involvement from owners, a mutual respect among employees, excellence in service, attention to details. Last but not least- knowing their customers- how they like how what when and where is remembered and held somewhat sacred. Being a regular here is being part of a family as staff or clientele. As long as I have breath in my body and they will have me I will host a show here for my own sanity and well being. More places should pay attention to how these people do business on all ends.
