“How many times have you thought to yourself? I would love an actual pizza that has, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles style cheese, but nobody makes it like that. Look no more at 40, I’ve been eating here my whole life and I will always get this pizza before any other type of pizza. The crust, the cheese, the atmosphere, the taste, there really is nothing like it. PS if you’re a Canadian bacon and pineapple person, this will be the best you ever had. These pizzas are the bees, actual bending knees.“

“What an outstanding restaurant for a family to eat at. The restaurant was astonishingly clean. We came in with our family of 5, there was a wait list that went very quickly. Food was served hot and fast, but most importantly delicious. Every employee was so friendly, and the manager made some funny jokes that our kids loved. “Hop Valley is a good spot to unwind. The food and drinks are good but could use a little finesse. The Nachos were ok and the spicy margarita was interesting. I wish they used fresh jalapeños and gave you sides of sour cream and hot sauces. Usually a good spot off I-5 to eat but they've made it a little difficult to reach. I'll definitely be back!“

“OK look, this isn't the best restaurant from this cuisin, it's right in the name that you will get something far more special - you are in his home cooking kitchen. It's so so good, the grilling is immaculate and delicious, just order something, anything tandoori!

We also got the veg biryani because iykyk that is the best one. A lot of people think that anything with meat is better, but if you want a protip, the one with all the good stuff is going to be the veg biryani every time, that's just how it is.

But don't forget the chai. I would come here just for chai, I would literally bring all my friends. As an herbalist I can tell you that getting the best out of herbs, spices and other botanicals can be complex: different times, methods, temps. The flavors in this chai are built so carefully in layers, all the way up to the high note - what I assume was dried rose petals floated on top of the hot finished brew so delicately without being directly heated at all. Gorgeous.

It's been weeks and I still remember it vividly. I was tired from a long trip, blood sugar crashing, and was grumpy I couldn't get the chai while I waited. It was worth it though and it fixed me right up. You will love it!! and love this place if you let it“
