“I usually won't give DQ a 5 star, but this was amazing. The young man at the counter had excellent customer service skills. The place was clean and no locks on the bathroom doors. Compared to the Taco Bell down the street it is night and day.“

“My son and I had a long day in Eugene at the doctor’s and needed something to eat real fast. The new McDonald’s is such a nice change; it’s fairly small but extremely modern, especially compared to the neighboring McDonald’s. It seems to be a mainly kiosk electronic-style ordering, but that isn’t a problem. The worker, Madison, was extremely helpful from the beginning to the end, from opening the door for us to checking on us mid-meal. I witnessed her even helping older folks figure out the ordering machines 10/10, Madison !!!“

“Sometimes giving a place a second try is worth it. ***This was my original review I was in town and my friends were getting burgers so I said I'd get one too. I ordered the Blue Cheese Bacon burger. I also asked for added sautéed mushrooms along with the onions that the menu described. We brought them back to my friends to eat. My burger was a wreck! The onions were barely noticeable and only on one side of the burger. There was maybe 3 slices of mushrooms despite the additional $2.00 charge. It was missing bacon. I called and shared what had occurred and how my burger was all wrong. I was given excuses about a recent menu change and that there had been a rush at the time my food was being made and essentially an apology with an excuse. My friends eat their probably once a week. I was told my name with my friends name would be put somewhere safe and that I could come in anytime for another on the house. Because of that quality business ethic at the time I did not write a review and was saving it for burger I'd originally hoped for. I finally came back to the area today and stopped in to inquire. They did not have my or my friends name anywhere but the cook said they remembered my burger was wrong. Today their remedy was to offer a few dollars off any order. Far from the original rectifying the wrong. While my friends who live nearby may continue to frequent your establishment, I will not be recommending you. I am from this area and I have a travel blog and share recommendations to hundreds of travelers from all across the USA. It's unfortunate you didn't honor your word. And it's unfortunate you didn't make it right. $18 for a burger and I left a $3 tip has left a bad taste in my mouth. Snack Shack (Owner) a month ago Hi Dreba, I saw your review and read what happen. im sorry about your experience im the new owner just took over last month I would love for you to give us a chance ill even remake the order they mest up for you on us come by or give us a call and ask for the manager This was my updated review of the Snack Shack Since I was in town again, I took the invitation of the new owners as an opportunity to support a new enterprise that represents a change. I showed them the previous review and their response and asked if they wanted to make use of the opportunity. I told them what my previous order had been, and they got right on it. I was treated kindly with smiles and asking my preferences. They used clear language for clarifications. The establishment looks very similar to the last visit, however the atmosphere felt more inviting. While I walked around and took a few photos my burger order was cooked. I got it to go. It was still hot when I arrived 10 minutes away. I had nibbled on the fries while I drove. The burger was juicy and all the added flavor bits were there. The mushrooms and onions were done nicely and were of an amount that was evident in each bite. The blue cheese added a nice bite and wasn't overpowering. I appreciated having the bacon on the side, even tho I had said I didn't want bacon. It got nibbled on too. Thank you for inviting me to try again. Thank you for a great dinner. Thank you for being kind. I'll tell me friends to come back too. Best wishes on your new endeavor. I urge you to give an old place with a new set of values a try. Thanks for making it right.“

“An absolutely wonderful dining experience. The staff was attentive and friendly, lots of smiles and good conversation. This restaurant is managed very well, the dining area was clean and so were the restrooms. The high quality food was brought out to our table promptly and tasted fresh and delicious. The prices are less than what you would expect for the kind of quality they serve. Not super cheap but reasonable. Honestly this place has become my favorite burger joint - try the bacon and bleu or the crispy chicken sandwich. My wife loves the wings and my kids love the crayons. Just kidding, my kids love the burgers and shakes of course! Highly recommend, a deserved 5 stars!“

“Hands down the best burger in town. Cooked exactly how you ask, choice beef, super fresh produce (he makes the pickles himself), good bread. Everything is perfect. Had the potato salad as well, also delicious.

Will 100% be going back. Can’t wait to try the fried chicken and pulled pork.

I’m picky about the quality of my food and dude’s food truck blew my tastebuds off.

There isn’t outdoor seating but the little bar next door has bangin CBD and THC mocktails and a cozy shaded patio and they will let you bring your burger in and eat it there as long as you order something to drink.“

“Killer burgers, nice portions and amazing prices. Staff are so kind and welcoming. It is somewhere you have must try if you love a good burger and fry. They also have such good shakes and onion rings. They have been around since 1949 i believe so it’s definitely a Cottage Grove institution. Cant speak more highly of the place a family favorite for sure.“

“Delightful, Food, Artwork, and Staff. My roomate and I were looking to have a tasty bite to eat and were overjoyed to learn about the delectable options.

Ingredients are locally sourced, the prices were very reasonable, and the staff are very friendly!

I'd highly recommend for a date, or solo lunch tone adventure.“

“I work right next door to them at Made By You and I called asking permission to park in their lot because I kept getting street tickets. They were so kind and said yes! Not only that but today I adventured in to have some of their food. I had bariatric surgery and my food options are super limited. They made me something completely off menu that fit my needs. It was AMAZING! My partner said his hamburger was the best he has had in town. The people in there are so kind and we had awesome conversation. There was no other customers in there this morning. “Who ever was working west 11th store around 9pm on May 17, 2026 made the best quality burger I have ever seen for a fast food place. I could tell they put a lot of pride in their work. I had to take pictures and share this in hopes they get some recognition and others follow their example. My only critique is the fries were slightly under cooked.“

“Don't be fooled by the unassuming exterior camouflage, this joint is serving up the most delicious and best value bar food in Eugene, in a sparkling clean authentic dive bar atmosphere. The Rusty Sliders are familiar to those who frequented the original iteration of Laurelwood Pub, and the side salads are so gorgeous you will be forgiven for imagining you are in a bougie bistro.

Make sure you ask about daily specials (the vague waitress didn't clue us in) and always ALWAYS order the cheesecake on Fridays. We will be regulars now, especially when the new Ducks football season starts.
