“Sometimes giving a place a second try is worth it. ***This was my original review I was in town and my friends were getting burgers so I said I'd get one too. I ordered the Blue Cheese Bacon burger. I also asked for added sautéed mushrooms along with the onions that the menu described. We brought them back to my friends to eat. My burger was a wreck! The onions were barely noticeable and only on one side of the burger. There was maybe 3 slices of mushrooms despite the additional $2.00 charge. It was missing bacon. I called and shared what had occurred and how my burger was all wrong. I was given excuses about a recent menu change and that there had been a rush at the time my food was being made and essentially an apology with an excuse. My friends eat their probably once a week. I was told my name with my friends name would be put somewhere safe and that I could come in anytime for another on the house. Because of that quality business ethic at the time I did not write a review and was saving it for burger I'd originally hoped for. I finally came back to the area today and stopped in to inquire. They did not have my or my friends name anywhere but the cook said they remembered my burger was wrong. Today their remedy was to offer a few dollars off any order. Far from the original rectifying the wrong. While my friends who live nearby may continue to frequent your establishment, I will not be recommending you. I am from this area and I have a travel blog and share recommendations to hundreds of travelers from all across the USA. It's unfortunate you didn't honor your word. And it's unfortunate you didn't make it right. $18 for a burger and I left a $3 tip has left a bad taste in my mouth. Snack Shack (Owner) a month ago Hi Dreba, I saw your review and read what happen. im sorry about your experience im the new owner just took over last month I would love for you to give us a chance ill even remake the order they mest up for you on us come by or give us a call and ask for the manager This was my updated review of the Snack Shack Since I was in town again, I took the invitation of the new owners as an opportunity to support a new enterprise that represents a change. I showed them the previous review and their response and asked if they wanted to make use of the opportunity. I told them what my previous order had been, and they got right on it. I was treated kindly with smiles and asking my preferences. They used clear language for clarifications. The establishment looks very similar to the last visit, however the atmosphere felt more inviting. While I walked around and took a few photos my burger order was cooked. I got it to go. It was still hot when I arrived 10 minutes away. I had nibbled on the fries while I drove. The burger was juicy and all the added flavor bits were there. The mushrooms and onions were done nicely and were of an amount that was evident in each bite. The blue cheese added a nice bite and wasn't overpowering. I appreciated having the bacon on the side, even tho I had said I didn't want bacon. It got nibbled on too. Thank you for inviting me to try again. Thank you for a great dinner. Thank you for being kind. I'll tell me friends to come back too. Best wishes on your new endeavor. I urge you to give an old place with a new set of values a try. Thanks for making it right.“

“Family friendly. Good burgers and fries. And kids eat for $5. Let’s say that again $5. Less than McDonalds and your kids can eat real food. The burger from the kids meal is a real, full size burger. Not a kids slider or micro sized version of an adult meal. It doesn’t get more family friendly than that.“

“We visited this restaurant while we were traveling thru , we were hungry for a burger.
Easy to get to off the main road -
This burger was so good, the onion rings & the milkshake was so good as well.
Not a fast food restaurant, but the food was brought out pretty quickly.

“We went here for the first time today, after I had been picking up several DoorDash orders here. I had the best experience my 3 year old had decision remorse once our food showed up and they replaced what she ordered with what she now wanted. My only dislike is that the employees don’t wear name tags so I can’t properly shout out. But everyone in here is great. Thank you!“

“We went to Applebee’s for dinner. It was actually very very good. We got the two for 25. Upgraded to the chicken and shrimp. Also got some adult beverages on special. Joseph, the host was excellent. Our server, Adrian was also excellent. We also got dessert! Overall, it was a really great dinner. Great food, great value, great service! Highly recommend. Joseph is great as a host. And Adrian was great as our server. will definitely come back.“

“The very best food with an exceptional server, MEGAN LOUISE. She had superb recommendations and we loved each one. She made the evening and was the ABSOLUTE BEST SERVER I HAVE EVER HAD!!!!! “5 starts because the restaurant/bar is great. The food is great. I know of at least 15 people who come here at least once a week for the pizza and salad on Tuesdays (amazing deal. Less than $10 for a great salad and personal pizza)

If you’re debating going there, do, they’re great. This isn’t a reflection of the place just calling their attention to one waitress who is very unprofessional. The blond one, I think her name starts with a J, is often rude to customers. Including, but not limited to, yelling at an elderly man for talking too loud for her but from accross the room we could hear her screaming at him and couldn’t hear him at all. He wasn’t bothering anyone but she kept yelling at him, things like “I can’t even concentrate with you here” in a very harsh tone. Tonight she was drunk, she told the table next to us that her day was awful because she was still hung over from last night but she was slurring her words and swaying and acting like she was still drunk. We even herd the other table talking when she left wondering if she was high or drunk and she wasn’t even the waitress for our aria but she kept coming into the other waitress section and telling people about her New Year’s Eve when she got drunk at a hotels restaurant and stole a stuffed bear from toys for tots.

Again, the food is great. The place is great. Most of the people are great they still get 5 starts I just want them to know how she acts.“

“George and Donna are wonderful people. The atmosphereis right out of the 50's. The food is excellent and the portions are huge for the price. Breakfast and coffee was under $8. Bring cash, credit and debit cards are not accepted just like in the 50's!“

“Sophia at the West 11th location in Eugene is an “All-Star”. I don’t go there often but was pleasantly surprised during my recent visit. She is so bubbly and friendly not only to me but every guest walking through their doors. Asking about their day and/or if they have any plans for the day is only a small amount of her charismatic charm. Did I mention how accommodating and efficient she is? “We would have had a great experience for a special birthday dinner, but unfortunately the server left us feeling disappointed, hurt, and embarrassed.
We were denied service after my cousin took a sip from my drink. We are all legal aged, and my cousin even drove back home to get her ID and came back and we were still refused service. The server raised her voice at us.

“I truly enjoy the service I get when I come to this location, especially because of the great service that Kayla the manager always gives. She has a wonderful personality and always recognizes me and spends the time to talk to me. She truly is the best thing about this store and the previous one she was at. She truly knows how to communicate well with the other people that work here and everyone likes her. That’s a rare quality and a good manager and even more so in this industry. She shines bar and above the rest. I truly appreciate all the efforts she makes and the fact that she encourages and uplift all the workers around her as well.“

“My son brought home a little token from school earning a free mini blizzard. I really appreciate rewards like this for students. I was pleasantly surprised to walk into a fast food restaurant that was clean, organized, had courteous staff, and was festive.

I wouldn’t expect a fast food restaurant to provide a pleasant atmosphere especially on a corner of a very busy intersection. 😊

The service was ridiculously prompt, my son was still picking out a table when our order was ready.
