“Ritz Diner is a very comfy, very small old-school diner. I had just come from a weekend at Silver Falls and was ready for a hot meal.The waitress was very welcoming and cheerful, and seemed to know everyone by name. Though very much a locals spot, I was treated with the same energy as the regulars.Fairly typical American style breakfast and lunch fare. I had the Corned Beef Hash and it was excellent!Overall I enjoyed the "back-in-the-day" atmosphere, friendliness, and the food was perfect, especially after a few days in the snow cooking off a camp fire. I'll certainly return next time I'm over night at Silver Falls or Salem.“

“I had just come from visiting my gravely ill sister in the ICU. Needless to say, I was feeling pretty crushed. When I arrived, it was clean, calm and quiet. I didn't have much of an appetite but the meal I ordered was deliscious and freshly cooked while I watched. Most importantly, your staff seemed to know just what I needed and they treated me with professionalism, patience and kindness. I referred my other sister when she arrived from Seattle the next day. She told me later that her experience was much like mine.It just reminds me that it's not always about the 5 star restaurant, it's about the humans that make it run. My sister passed a couple days later but your staff truly brightened my day...at least for a couple hours. Thank you❤️ “
