“Disclaimer, I didn't eat the food myself as I'm plant based. Dennis and Auntie makes it homey. When I look at the pictures and food, it feels authentic and rich, yummies families eat. Portions are great. Definitely smells tempting while I'm enroute to deliver these. Ordered BBQ pork skewers for my Greek friend and he can't stop raving about it. He asked me to get more for him on his birthday. Got the pork adobo for another friend. OMG! Delicious! He's a born and raised Louisiana chef so quite judgy when it comes to food. Definitely, ordering some dishes for my visiting family!“

“My wife and I and several co-workers have been there many times. Absolutely perfect service. Food that is on point to what you get in Korea and very reasonable prices. I can't recommend this place enough. Today, (In the photo) just a beef bibimbap to go.“

“One of my husband and I’s FAVORITE places to dine together. Their waitstaff are always incredibly sweet, accommodating and knowledgeable. Their portions are generous,,,I always leave with a Togo box and a smile. “Fabulous evening with friends before Christmas. The decorations are warm and welcoming along with having the talented pianist at the grand piano. I had the most delicious seafood pasta ever. Large prawns and sweet scallops with homemade pasta was scrumptious. My husband had lobster tail on beet risotto. A little skeptical we all had a taste and it was delicious, too. We appreciate Mo’s graciousness and celebrate his almost 35 years in Salem. Our server Stevie, was efficient, friendly and took great care of us. Best restaurant in Salem.“

“One of the best Thai restaurants I have had in Oregon so far.

Wonderful service. I regularly go here for the Thai tea, which is always smooth and tastes fantastic. The tea is brewed well, flavored well, balanced well. I have traveled all over the country and would rank this Thai tea as top five in flavor and consistency. Their food is also delicious. It is clearly made with love. Fried rice is moist, savory, not greasy at all. I am picky about meat and texture. Their meat is well cooked and prepared. The noodles are perfect texture. The rice. Ive tried everything on the menu at this point. The vegetables are cooked perfectly, not too soft or hard, has their fresh flavor, not overpowered by spice. Delicious. Zucchini and eggplant are firm and soft, not soggy.

Curries are delicious. Service is kind. They get really busy sometimes, but never rude and they do all they can to be timely inside or when one orders to go. Lunch special is $12 and you get 2 gyoza, with yummy dipping sauce. ♡“

“We were in Salem for a concert at the Elsinore Theatre on Friday, November 1st, and were lucky enough to find the Wild Pear, to get something to eat before concert. I wanted to try everything on the menu, it sounded so good! I ordered the Butternut soup & Pear salad. Both were fabulous, & I can't wait to drive back to Salem to check out other items on the menu. We had awesome service and were greeted & shown to a table right away. You will not be disappointed! I will definitely be back, & wish you were closer to Vancouver, WA!!“

“Recently tried For Tomorrow We Die. Friendly atmosphere. Nice seating. Good staff. But cushions for the chairs/booths would be nice. Easy place to visit on your own. Excellent beer, Kiss the Girl is a fav. Food is very good. Not your normal bar food. Now offering Bourbon flights. I've tried 3. All good.“

“It is hard to find good breakfast in this area and Cafe 22 hits the spot. I love their peaches, the pancake thickness isnt overly cakey and hard to swallow. The bacon is thick and cooked just right. The raspberry jam is real raspberry jam. The water mentioned in the another review is because they are on a well so it does taste little bit more tinnish, a lemon wedge in my water cured that. Stopped by the fruit stand for fresh strawberries, on the spendy side, but oh the flavor, absolutely nothing beats an Oregon strawberry. Had I known they did strawberry short cake, I woulda skipped the breakfast and went straight to the fruit stand.“

“One of our go to places! I absolutely love their shrimp fried rice. It’s light, flavorful and always tastes so fresh. My husband gets the beef with mushrooms and fried rice and loves it too. “Staff was prompt and responsive. I ordered the Prime Rib Special. It came out remarkably fast. Medium rare as requested. Unfortunately the baked potato was over done and yet cool. The prime rib was lukewarm. The horseradish sauce was off- I can’t tell why but it had a peculiar flavor that should not have been there. Seasoning of the prime rib was on point and so was the zip sauce. I wasn’t feeling up to potential confrontation so when they asked how the food was I just said good. With prime rib it’s hard because if they warmed it then it might not have come back medium rare…also there was no steak knife but again I didn’t ask“

The French Onion soup was simply exquisite, and the mushroom lasagna was equally delightful.
