Toast and jam is the best restaurant I've been to in a while. The coffee was excellent, the creamer dish was never empty and my coffee cup never was empty because the wait staff check the tables frequently. I had top sirloin steak and eggs with pancakes.the pancakes were absolutely perfect as well as the steak and eggs, the steak was so tender I couldn't believe it. Be aware that they add an "Automatic gratuity" for any table, not just large groups. I mean, I don't get what this is all about. I thought tips were a judgement of how good service was. Not to be predetermined. It's common for large table yes, but they are doing it to everyone. I asked them to remove the automatic gratuity and they did. Shady practice imo.
