“I feel so lucky to live near Monarca because it is by far my favorite spot in town! They make the best breakfast burritos, but emphasis on their veggie breakfast for actually including yummy veggies. Most places will give you a burrito with egg, potato, and cheese if you don’t want meat. I’ve tried many other items and never have had anything bad. 10/10 recommend + their friendly service is an added bonus!“

“Giving them 5 stars because I got some of the best tacos I’ve ever had. They were simple but very fresh and tasty with handmade tortillas. The asada and al pastor were great, the grilled chicken was chicken wasn’t as tasty but to be expected of chicken. We asked for salsa for the chips for dipping but were told they don’t carry it. They do have some salsas in bottles, but not what you usually expect in the US.“

Very affordable. They were huge, and excellent quality. Did I happen to say huge? Cheese, potatoes, eggs, your choice of breakfast meats and cooked to perfection. I added refried beans, crema, onions, cilantro and the salsa that came with chips...excellent! The waitstaff were friendly and helpful to non Latinos. Would I eat here again? Absolutely 💯!!! The proportions of ingredients was great, not just a ton of lettuce or rice as fillers for the taco salad or burritos. It was a little before lunch time so everything came out super quick.“

“It's actually better today then it was a year ago. They appear to have finally fixed the drive-thru speakers. What I found strange though is that my taco salad seemed to be almost upside down... it used to be the refried beans in the bottom, then lettuce, then everything else. Today the lettuce (actually I believe it was thin cut cabbage) was on top. Which kind of made everything underneath a big mess. However, the overall flavor was good and the carne asada was not overcooked. Only major request I have is to provide several taco sized flour tortillas when people order carne asada plates instead of one burrito sized one.“

We tried the fish tacos, shrimp tacos and pork street tacos. All were exceptional! The salsa bar is amazing with tasty salsa, crisp pickled carrots and yummy grilled onions with whole jalepeno! And the best part... the price! It's hard to find any food places open past 9pm or affordable anymore, in Bend. I'm happy to say, " We've found our new spot!"“
