“Some things just never change—and honestly, I hope they never do. ❤️ I’ve been coming to Ixtapa in Silverton since I was a little girl, and after all these years, the food, the atmosphere, and the hospitality are still just as amazing as I remember. But let’s be honest… THIS is what I’ve always looked forward to at the end of every meal. 😂❤️ Apparently I’ve reached the age where I have to request my whipped-cream-covered dessert instead of waiting for it to magically appear… 😂 But after all these years, it still tastes like childhood. There’s something really special about a family-owned local restaurant that stays true to itself—the familiar faces, the same welcoming feeling, and those little traditions you remember growing up with. Thank you, Ixtapa, for never changing. Some things are simply too good to outgrow. If you have not visited this lovely restaurant, you are definitely missing out. “1st time here. Got the 4 street tacos with asada and al-pastor! Asada was a little dry and could use some more seasoning, as well as the pastor this was the better of the 2 meats this time. But still good. Tacos were FILLED with meat! Great portions! I also got a horchata- which was very bland and felt like watered down. Over all getting a 5 star from me just cuz you filled the tacos up with meat! Other street tacos need to take note of this! Will be back if I’m ever back in silverton!“
