“Wonderful customer service tonight. I am a regular customer of Hawaiian Time and have been for years. The food was good, as it always is. However, tonight I had exceptional service from the 2 young ladies at the front counter. It was New Year's day and very close to closing. I expected some urgency to get me on my way like I usually experience at most places that are about to close, understandably. However, that is the opposite of what I received. I was the only customer and all the chairs were up off the floor. The minute I walked in I was cheerfully greeted by both young girls. They were incredibly attentive, friendly, and eager to help me. They didn't make me feel rushed in anyway. They both took their time and helped me pick out a Hawaiian drink, giving their personal preferences when asked. Their attitude never strayed away from being kind, helpful, and positive. They worked well with each other and made my experience better than it has been at any of the other locations to date. Unfortunately, it has become my experience, and one that I have come to expect, to receive less than average service when I go somewhere to pick up take out. Not from these two. It was well above average. It was perfect. These awesome young women provided the type of service that should be expected. Everytime. Because of them and the service they provided, I will go out of my way to return to this location for now on.“

“Always great service, usually great food. This is by far my favorite plate lunch place. The sauce/seasoning is just darn good, and the prep is almost always spot on. Much like any casual dining place you'll occasionally get a meal that wasn't prepped to the standard you hope for, but that's life. The atmosphere is pretty cold, and not terribly cozy, but it works for a quick meal.“

“The food had an splendid quality and very delicious. I ordered beef BBQ with steam rice and macaroni/mac salad. All three items were very delicious. The portions were large corresponding to the value of money. The staff were very nice and caring. Thank you guys!“

“Best Hawaiian food in Springfield. The girl at register was helpfull and very friendly. Sticky rice fantastic! Meats are moist and juicy. 2nd time back to order more. Flamed grill is wonderful. Macaroni salad is the best. Recommend to everyone. 1030 am place was very busy.“

“I agree with Ken Munson. Bring back the beef! Please, please, bring back the beef. The Teriyaki beef was the best item on the menu. I haven't been back since they removed it, and nobody else's is as good.“
