“Absolutely delicious food... a level of quality that we don't often see in a small city. I don't think they even had a sign up for months and the place was full every night as soon as word spread. Sit at the back prep table if you can get a seat there.“
“I loved this place. The food was amazing and the atmosphere was welcoming, warm, and not too loud. I almost cancelled the reservation due to being overwhelmed and not feeling up to a usual restaurant. This place was not too upscale to where it was uncomfortable but just upscale enough to still feel like a comfortable treat. The service was spectacular. The waitress was pleasant and relatable.“
“This was our second trip into Eugene and we’ve found another gem in Beppe & Gianni’s Trattoria! We were met and seated immediately and couldn’t help but feel the warm, cozy atmosphere. It quickly reminded us of a restaurant back home, which was a converted house turned restaurant. Drinks and fresh sourdough were just what we needed as we scanned the menu. We started with the Caprese, then it was a tough decision and we could see many solid options ordered by other guests seated nearby. My sister decided on the Capelli D’Angelo Alla Mediterranea and I went for the Pollo Saltimbocca. Both were spectacular and cooked to perfection! The heaping pile of prawns and scallops on the angel hair pasta made me jealous, but I thoroughly enjoyed my plate too. The sauce was delicious and the roasted potatoes were an excellent complement. Luckily, my sister shared some off her plate, so I can also attest that may have been the best choice! Our server was there as needed and not overbearing with needless “check-ins” and “how y’all doin’s?” Everyone we spoke with that evening was very friendly and we also noticed as they welcomed familiar faces with smiles and warm greetings. We ended the night by sharing both the Tiramisu and Carrot Cake desserts, made in-house. My sister said it was the best Tiramisu she’s even had! This is perfect spot for anything - date nights, special occasions or, like us, just a random Thursday. It’s difficult to find an instant favorite, but now I’m blessed to have found another in Eugene!“
“Rye never disappoints. After moving here from the East Coast, Rye is the only place that satisfies my culinary appetite. It's cozy, it's delicious, and the service is always outstanding. Thanks for being here and doing what you do best! The poutine and french onion soup are 10/10“
“Perugino has it's own unique vibe that is hard to find in Eugene. The rugs hanging on the walls make it even more lovely and unique. It's a nice place to enjoy a good conversation or read, as it doens't get too loud- I especially appreciate that the staff keep their voices down to match the atomosphere. They make a lovely borgia and I enjoy their house coffee. The baristas always seem friendly and the owner is incredibly kind!“
“Cafe Med was a surprise. Literally. I did not know I was heading here for dinner and did not know what to expect. The service was excellent. Our server was knowledgeable, friendly, and on top of things. The food (forgot to take pictures) was good. I had the special - tortellini filled with parmesan, topped with prosciutto and a nice creamy sauce. It was good. Though it was luke warm at best. I'm not sure if it's supposed to be that way due to cream sauces being so finicky with heat. My biggest complaint is the portion size vs the price tag. I don't mind paying for a high quality meal, but I typically don't expect to leave hungry either. I was quite disappointed that we had to go find food afterwards because we were both still hungry. I didn't think what we got warranted the price tag when compared to other nice restaurants. The place itself is quite nice. I would give the atmosphere more than 4 stars if it hadn't been for the bright neon signs of the dispensary right outside. Perhaps closing some curtains would make it a bit better. Inside was quant and friendly. I enjoyed it.Parking seems a bit limited here, but then again seating inside is pretty limited as well. Overall I enjoyed the dinner we had.“
