“Very good food. Large portions. The ‘sushi donut’ is enough for a small appetite meal. The rice was well done and flavorful… And coming for me that actually means something because I don’t normally like rice. I was well on my way to food drunk when I got done. It is a food truck, so no real seating, but it had a parking lot and several communal picnic benches. There were several other food trucks in the same area which makes it easier for those who want different food styles.“
“This cart has some delicious food and the woman working was so stinking friendly!! It was my first time here and she helped to navigate the menu. We got to talking about other fun places to eat in the region, too. I had the planet earth vegetarian ramen and added the pork belly. The broth was so good! The chili oil added a great spice to it. The noodles- perfectly chewy. And the pickles throughout just really made for a well rounded bite. Maddy brought us some onigiri to try too- SEE, SO NICE! The mushroom was fantastic, and the dining partner loved the tuna. Yabai Nikkei was at the Oregon Wine Lab, and honestly, I’ll follow them anywhere.“
“I never leave reviews, but I really want this place to stick around. Great sushi, affordable, and fresher than any other place in town. Their basic rolls are just as good as the specialty/fried ones. They're always quick and accurate with takeaway orders. Never had a wrong or missing item. Cute little place right by the bus station. “We traveled up to Eugene for a little getaway this weekend. We stopped in Roseburg Friday, and then stayed at a super cool little cottage in Eugene Saturday. Where we stayed was ABSOLUTELY PERFECT! It was within walking distance of so many places to eat and drink! I had a list of like 29 places to go, so I think a much needed girls weekend needs to happen here soon. One of our stops was SūBó Sushi Burritos -South Eugene because that was the one thing I had never tried in my life- a sushi burrito. Jon ordered the Samurai with avocado, and I ordered the Volcano because I love spicy stuff... I didn’t try his, but mine was beyond amazing! The freshness of the salmon poke, crunch of the pickled onion and jalapeño crunches, the heat of the spicy tuna and spicy cream cheese... I honestly could hardly stand the habanero sauce! BUT SO GOOD!“

“This is our go to restaurant for the best Sushi and Meats in Town. The Prices are comparable for sushi and excellent for the grill especially when you consider its diner with a show and basically a multi course meal. The Filet Minion is excellent Medium rare-Medium, but honestly its all great.“
“Me and my friend went to Izakaya Jinsei for dinner tonight and we had an amazing experience! Such a cute restaurant. Will definitely be my new go to sushi spot. Very quaint, chill atmosphere. Some standout dishes we ordered were the spicy garlic edamame as an appetizer and the super dragon roll. Service was great. Very friendly employees. The menu was pretty big and had a large variety of dishes, not just sushi. I would definitely come back here again to dine in or for takeout.“

“Food was good service was good but not great. We were sat next to the door and felt pretty ignored but that didn't bother us too much. However other patrons in the restaurant were very loudly making ugly comments about us for no reason we could tell. We were very quiet and to ourselves. Not the best experience unfortunately.“
“Seaweed salad was the best we ever had! I recommend the ranibow poke bowl or tsunami roll. Both dishes were delicious and spicy. The restaurant is beautiful. When our food came out, I was surprise how it was beautifully presented. Wish we gotten our sever name. She was very helpful and took very good care of us. Definitely got our craving for sushi fixed. “Great little spot for a weekday lunch. On first look you would expect fast food, but it is much closer to hole in the wall teriyaki. Great service, friendly staff, and my order made with enough time to eat before heading back in to work. Nolan (I think he is the manager) always offers friendly service while the kitchen staff gets our food out hot and fresh. I definitely recommend weekday lunch, as weekends can seem like things are a little bit chaotic back there, I think that might be the junior varsity team. I really like the Orange spicy chicken. I tried it the first time when trying to order spicy orange chicken. They offered to fix it but I declined, it was amazing.Dietary restrictions: Their sauces are gluten free, my coworker really appreciates that.“
“Very happy to finally have found some decent Japanese food. A bit thrown off by the fact that the menu also holds Korean foods but it was also quite good. I wish more tempura was offered for the price and that my chicken had been grilled instead of mixed in sauce with veggies. But the service was really good and quick, and they were able to substitute my sushi rolls in my bento for more rice. Overall, definitely want to come back to try again!“

The suchi was incredible, the best I have had since I left Japan several years ago.The service was impeccable, Our chef and wait staff were friendly, offering great suggestions and attentive to our needs and wants. “Went in with my family for my birthday today and was overall pleased! We ordered from the kitchen and sushi and everything was amazing, I devoured several rolls in minutes and all washed down with a Kirin. The original guy working was a complete jerk and openly spoke of quitting (because it was busy) and I watched him repeatedly put down a young lady working there who never showed emotion and ended up serving us perfectly. I tipped her good and left a note saying I was sorry she had to work with a jerk. Overall it's a great place, just drop the idiot guy with earrings, the way he spoke to his fellow employee was terrible and how he arrogantly spoke to customers about everything was painful to hear. “The ramen is consistently delicious and the service is quick and friendly. The owner makes it a point to enthusiastically greet each person as they walk in, somehow genuinely each and every time, which I really value and appreciate. I always get the Spicy Katsu Ramen and everything is lovely. Rich, flavorful broth, noodles with the perfect amount of chew, fresh veggies, and satisfyingly thin and crispy katsu (chicken, tofu, or pork). To me, this is absolutely the best ramen in Eugene!“
