Shout out to Metropol Bakery I found them after calling a few other bakeries in Eugene. I needed a Birthday cake delivered to my Duck in her favorite red velvet. They don't have this flavor on their regular menu but do make it over Valentines and agreed to make it early for her big day on the 26th. Metropol Bakery has been in business for a long time, offering amazing old-world baked goods that are truly unbelievable. The warm vibe and friendly staff make customers feel welcome, and they are accommodating to those with special needs. The bakery is clean, with a delightful aroma that adds to the experience. With a wide variety of delicious treats, including the popular Opera Cookie, the breakfast sandwich on an American roll, and the cherry-cheese Danish, it’s no wonder this bakery has loyal regulars. Fresh bread is always a plus, and despite being busy and sometimes slow, customers find the experience totally worth it. Anyone visiting Oregon, specifically Eugene, should try this place at least once.
