“Everything was *a-mazing*, from the service to the yummy menu to the beer and cider! The "saucetender" sets this place apart and the fact that they're all housemade is appreciated: cherry habañero and the aiolis were favorites.Thank you for stocking the best gluten-free bun I've ever had...so soft and perfect unlike most. This is definitely my new go-to burger joint! My husband had a burger and I had a grilled chicken sandwich...we couldn't talk to eachother for a while!! Cheers to this place!Dietary restrictions: Best gluten free bun I've had in my life!“
“First of all, I love the eclectic, quirky, and vintage atmosphere. It is really welcoming and the music adds a nice touch. Secondly, the food is amazing, especially the pulled pork sandwich, gouda mac, and truffle fries. My only criticism is that there isn’t tons of seating. People kept coming in without seating being available.“
“Food was very good, gravy could have used a little more flavor, but I understand why they made it the way they did (lacked salt and pepper). We ordered the chicken fried steak and house skillets. Food was very warm when served and only took about 15 to get to our table. Looking over the menu it has a pretty decent selection, and a variety of drinks options. Also, the cookies near the register were a nice treat, nice to know they were made from scratch. Overall, service was great and I will be back when in the area.“
“Oh, Block 15. So yummy, every time. You're my lunchtime solution, day after day. Soft, juicy chicken. Fluffy bread. Delicious pesto. Fresh fries. Can I move in?A quick suggestion: Tell your staff to slow down. They're always a bit frantic, even when there's an empty restaurant. Stop rushing and breathe. It feels good :-) See you soon. Chomp chomp.“
“Had breakfast here this morning and it was good. It was a Sunday and there was probably a 5 minute wait at the most. Of course this was on the day of return from winter break so probably not as busy as it usually is. We ended up getting an omelette, a skillet pancakes and eggs benedict. The portions are very large and and one dish could be shared by two we also got the gluten-free cinnamon bun or roll and it was very sweet but it also very good. The coffee it comes in a very large ceramic cup. . All in all, it was a very good breakfast/ brunch.Dietary restrictions: Good gluten-free options“
“Best place in TOWN. The staff is 100/10, the food is amazing and it’s such a great atmosphere. We come here WEEKLY and will never go else where for a great burger.Seriously if you are in Corvallis, you have to stop at squirrels. You’ll thank me later!“
“Luis the owner of Elmer's here in Corvallis is very generous and works with many non-profits in the area. His staff and service are very welcoming along with their food. We love holding our Chamber of commerce meetings there and eating a delicious breakfast.“
“Honestly it's 4stars because I couldn't just comment, and I've only been there once. But it was yummy and I would definitely go back. My brother took me there during my lunch break not too long ago ~ so it will always be a special place to me.“
“Helena and the other two gentlemen made sure I was well taken care of as I watched the UFC fights. Was in town to see Arizona softball and linked up with my buddy I hadn't seen physically since 1999(he's the senior pac 12 networks producer). He was there late of course and had to pay the cover, but we both got a kick out of watching the line dancing. Had the patty melt and rings, Helena made me an Arnold Palmer, and my buddy and I had ciders. Good times, the entire staff gets kudos.“
“Old building in the middle of farm land. Kind of like going back in time a few decades. Some might call it a dive bar. However, it is clean, the food is very good and the service is warm and friendly. There is covered outside dining that puts you even closer to the surrounding farm land. I thought the long island ice tea was excellent.“
“We always enjoy McMenamins, not least because there are so many deals to be had. Especially if you have a McMenamins passport and go during happy hour. We had delicious salads (Aztec and Brewers), delicious beer (Ruby Royale and Ginger Snap Red) and pretzel nubs with yummy ale sauce cheese--all discounted to some extent. Then we played three games of free pool. Fun times!“
“Had lunch at Clod’s the other day. It had been years since I had been there. I had forgotten how good their food was! I had the half tuna and fries while my friend had the burger she said it was delicious. I’ll definitely be eating there again soon.“
“I come here probably once every two weeks. The Phoenix burger is actually the best burger I have ever had. And I know burgers.Leaving this review after all this time because the cook/server remembered my order and got it right. Made me feel special. Thank you for all your hard work guys!“
“Aleta (the manager) is the absolute BEST. She is always working so hard to ensure the food is made by her team quickly, accurately, and presented beautifully. Walking up and down those steps all day must be a workout, but that does not deter from fast and friendly service. I would highly recommend the Original Yumm! Bowl or the new Spicy Teriyaki Yumm! Bowl!“
“We loved our visit here. Let me say, first, that I've traveled a bunch in France and like the slowish pace of restaurant meals there. Things do seem to come out a bit slower here than most Americans want, but I'm not troubled by that. I'm not here to gulp down food and get out, I'm here to enjoy the time. Decor is fun, staff is friendly, informal. We ordered entirely from the small plates "street food" part of the menu. Chicken skewers, tri-tip skewers, salad rolls, a couple of other things. Everything popped with flavor and seemed to be done correctly. There is a definite fusion vibe to the food, so it won't fit preconceptions of any particular cuisine. Just approach it with an open mind.“
“Charming little restaurant, good food (ordered dragon/phoenix, recommend), with a decorated dining area and appropriately hands off staff. Place was mostly empty on a weekday at 7:45.Rest of the space isn't fancy (seems they do lottery in the back, and the bathroom has 2 doors with twist handles and a passcode (not ideal for sanitation), but prices are modest, and its an easy walk from the hotel I stay at in Corvallis, so overall 5/5.“
“Came to Corvalis for an event. Was hungry & know I would find great food at a McMenamins! I even got a T ShirtParking: Not a lot of spots ON the premises. Customers clearly advised NOT to use other business' lots. Thanks 4 that!“
“Update: There are tuns of restaurants in Corvallis, but Magenta is in the top 3 for any celebration in my family. No matter how many times we go, it is always a pleasant time, and the food is constantly delicious!I've been here twice, and both times, the food is delicious, the staff friendly and the atmosphere upbeat. Thank you all for a great night!“
“Probably the best place to eat in Corvallis that I’ve been to, on my work trips. Upscale atmosphere, delicious food and drinks and service to match. Highly recommend to those looking for a higher end meal and service. The brussel sprouts with pork belly is so good I could eat it for every meal!“
