“These guys were great. We had a big party for breakfast and through no fault of them our reservation was accidentally cancelled. They all worked their tails off to make sure we were all taken care of. The food was excellent as always. The staff’s great attitude and willingness to take us in with no reservation turned what could have been a bad situation into a great experience. Thank you so much!“

“A friend and I had dinner at the Wooden Nickel yesterday and it was great. Our server was Veronica and she was fantastic, even when I spilled my lemonade all over the table. I had the three-piece fried chicken with sweet potato fries, and it was enough to take it home and have two more meals. My friend got a huge chicken salad and she could barely eat half and took the rest home. Thanks for the good food, generous portions, and nice people.“

“Stopped on our way home from Detroit lake. We had a mushroom cheeseburger basket and a bacon cheeseburger basket. Both were very good!! Great service, even though they had help wanted signs up, she was friendly and efficient. Definitely recommend!“
