I have only one negative comment; It was very noisy inside. I'm not sure if that was due to acoustics of the room or unduly noisy patrons but it was difficult for our party to have a conversation.”

“We got to Murphys quite a bit actually. My Dinner Group tried to go someplace different month, but we somehow end up at Murphy’s half of the time! We all live C their burgers and fries and onion rings! The Chicken Satay is delicious also. I understand the wraps are very good also! They have an extensive wine menu and loads of different drinks to choose from. I highly recommend Murphy’s if you are looking for a place to eat dinner in Corvallis.

Parking: It depends on what timed of day of course. But the paid parking goes to free after 5:00. Although it is still hard to find parking close to Murphy’s

My love of ice cream started while working at Baskin Robbins in high school in the late 70's. I'll be back!”

The owner and server were super friendly and warm, the food was excellent- especially for the price- and the service was thoughtful and efficient. We had the Mezzanine Plate, Chicken Shwarma, Lamb Shwarma, Secret Sandwich, and four smoothies. Sat outside in the fresh air, shared food, and had a great time. Highly recommend.”

“Best taphouse in the Corvallis/Albany area. There are always new beer selections and there are at least a few beers of each type (i.e. IPA, stout, lager, etc.). The staff is friendly and helpful. The new outdoor area is also well done and super cozy. 100% recommend stopping by for a drink. You can also bring in or order outside food.”

“We get takeout monthly, but because it was my birthday (woohoo) we decided to eat in on Halloween this year. We had a table with a window, and it was fun to watch all the trick-or-treaters. Two of us had burgers which we enjoyed, one had the Fish and Chips which is our usual go to entree. The only two issues are parking (it can be a problem on a busy night) and they have a limited Game Day menu when the OSU Beavers football team is having a home game.

Parking: We found street parking about two blocks away.

Kid-friendliness: It was Halloween, so there were more than the usual amount of kids, but they seemed to be enjoying themselves.”

We drove all the way back to town from Archer to get it again tonight. Strawberry puffle with extra strawberries, mini stroop waffles and vanilla gelato. 20/10 would recommend. Also, as someone who is lactose sensitive, gelato is way easier on my stomach than ice cream!”

This is quality food that was badly needed as we move back into a more normal social sphere with improving community. And tasteful fun food.

“I work in an office and we had an order for several Yumm bowls. We tried to run our order through GrubHub and due to an error, the order was set for pick up not delivery. After waiting a very long time I called Cafe Yumm! directly and spoke to either the manager or owner. He said GrubHub was a 3rd party service and there wasn't much they could do to change the order on their end, but that he'd be happy to run our order out to us!! He was here within 20 minutes, food in hand. We were all BLOWN AWAY by this excellent customer service, especially considering the error wasn't the fault of Cafe Yumm! The food was great as always and we will definitely order again, albeit with a different delivery service.”

My biggest complaint is that if you want anything extra on your plate, it’s all sold separately, not included with your meal. Such as bacon or potatoes or any add ons to your omelette.

“Everything was great, service, food etc... until today when I get notification of Elmer's charging my account multiple times for the same meal. (paid with debit) The food was good but not hundreds of dollars good. not a happy customer. Update: Went in when they opened, told there was nobody that could do anything except maybe the manager when he is in, no answer as to when he would be in, just call and check if he is there then drop what I am doing to go there. For the record this is the 3rd time this exact thing has happened to me at the Corvallis location, makes me wonder how many people don't catch double charges from them........... Update: The manager finally talked with me and said he would refund the extra charges. How ever I get a new notice of duplicate charges. He did refund me one of the charges AFTER he charged my account AGAIN.”

My favorite is the hot-braised tofu!”

My bf said his sandwich was the “best crafted Subway sandwich he’s ever had” and trust me, we eat a lot of Subway. “Love it. We took a break from take n bake for a while, but we've been going here weekly. Order on the website and you can pick up from the rack by the door. Usually our order is ready before the time given online.We recently tried the cheesy bread, and it's a winner. Could easily add to every order.As far as the pizzas go, we've been happy with the cheese or pepperoni, especially because they often have deals running. These are good to stick in the freezer and cook from frozen as well. Just need to add more cooking time. I sometimes pull them out and let them rest for a few minutes and then stick them back on a pizza stone in the oven to crisp up the bottom some more. If you don't rest them, the cheese can burn.All around, good pizza and good value, especially as there are not many pizza options in SW Corvallis/Philomath.The Dairy free create your own is also a really nice choice for our youngster who is intolerant to dairy/lactose.”

“This was the highlight of our trip back home (October 4-7). Each morning shortly after opening we showed up here for Coffee Mocha, the gal (2) who opened each morning, at 5:30, one who took our order, and one who served were both so kind and gracious. This was a very stressful trip for us with my father's illness, traveling, we were not able to make our own fresh ground, french press at home so we stopped in here where we were able to slowly wake up and watch the locals come and go. We stayed in a Hotel nearby, and were able to walk in, weather beautiful, no rain. I was born in Corvallis, this used to be Penny's, or adjoining, bought all my 501's here, across the street is the Whiteside Theater where one could enjoy many a feature, and across from that was Frederick & Nelson where one could buy high-end clothing and houseware, neighborhood of charmed memories. The experience each day for 4 mornings helped us through our days and will remain the highlight of our trip! (As for our clothing? Yes, I do work for Polo Ralph Lauren at Santa Fe) Thank you Starbucks, you rule!”

There's a sandwich board out front so we knew we were in the right place and another review mentioned that it was in there also. Tasty boba tea and they're open a bit later than Bobahead down the street which is why we searched it out! ???? Not as many flavors as the other business but it still hit the spot, great alternative if you're looking for boba just after 8pm!”

“Went to the Starbucks downtown Corvallis to pick up customer order it was poorly put together in the back which it leaked all over when I got to customers home. I went to the closer Starbucks to get order due to the other Starbucks posing a rotten disposition when I explained that it had dumped everywhere. They weren’t willing to offer assistance at first. The two ladies who helped me this morning were quick, thorough, professional and empathetic about the circumstances I was experiencing! The 3rd St Starbucks is not good or needs to get better help who addresses situations in an appropriate manner and doesn’t act out or appear irritable with the customer.”

“Definitely worth it! The food was delicious, although a bit colder than I would have wanted. The spice level was on point and the pick up process was smooth. Sit-in options are also available but you might have to wait a bit if visiting during busier times.

Parking: There is a parking lot in the square but can be packed at times. Choose your time wisely.

Kid-friendliness: I visited at night so the restaurant was a bit loud, I wouldn't recommend for kids. I'm sure it's a bit more chill during the day.

“We ordered 3 individual pizzas (2 small and one college student size), and they were all amazingly tasty. Loved the freshly rolled pizza dough, and all toppings were fresh and very good. Beer and cider on tap, too. Plus, they stay open till 11pm on Fridays! Two thumbs up.

“8/4/2021 Best Chinese food in the valley hands down! We pickup a take-out order 3-4 times per month, sometimes more. HOWEVER, they seem to be slipping a little bit lately. The sweet n sour chicken was rock hard, literally crunchy. My Wife was shocked as it’s always good. Everyplace has an off day, hopefully this was a one time thing. Warning! Apparently they only add soy sauce in the “to-go” bags if you specifically ask for it. Bizarre! Who doesn’t use soy sauce on Chinese food. We love Queens Chopsticks. By far the best we’ve found in Corvallis/Philomath. Highly recommend. A little spendy, but worth every penny…most of time.”
