“First-time customer stopping in for a bite to eat and a place to get some work done on my laptop. The staff was friendly and very customer-focused. The lady who helped me made sure I got exactly what I ordered.

The pizza was very good. It was a little pricey, but that may have been due to what I ordered. Either way, it was well worth the cost. I also loved the warm, vintage atmosphere.

“Can't remember how many times, that I Have passed by here Finally went to the Monkeys Paw Bar unplanned with my family visiting on there last night in Eugene.It was so much fun loved the interior tiki ambiance was crowded no where to sit down and I didn't know that they have live music bands on a Friday. Got the drink called the pain killer was good. Waited patiently close in the front facing the Small stage where the Headliner band Jenny Don't & the Spurs played there hits. It was an amazing time they played for 1 1/2 hrs we all loved it every minute dancing till I was sweating and rocking to the live music. Haven't had a great time like this in a while due to my busy work schedule.Purchased 2 T-shirts & a poster got to meet jenny & her husband. So glad we decided to go in as it was totally unexpected and an unforgettable night. Thank you so much I will definitely be back.“

This makes me a little picky about strange things like, employee retention, a love and involvement from owners, a mutual respect among employees, excellence in service, attention to details. Last but not least- knowing their customers- how they like how what when and where is remembered and held somewhat sacred. Being a regular here is being part of a family as staff or clientele. As long as I have breath in my body and they will have me I will host a show here for my own sanity and well being. More places should pay attention to how these people do business on all ends. “An absolutely wonderful dining experience. The staff was attentive and friendly, lots of smiles and good conversation. This restaurant is managed very well, the dining area was clean and so were the restrooms. The high quality food was brought out to our table promptly and tasted fresh and delicious. The prices are less than what you would expect for the kind of quality they serve. Not super cheap but reasonable. Honestly this place has become my favorite burger joint - try the bacon and bleu or the crispy chicken sandwich. My wife loves the wings and my kids love the crayons. Just kidding, my kids love the burgers and shakes of course! Highly recommend, a deserved 5 stars!“

“Sometimes giving a place a second try is worth it. ***This was my original review I was in town and my friends were getting burgers so I said I'd get one too. I ordered the Blue Cheese Bacon burger. I also asked for added sautéed mushrooms along with the onions that the menu described. We brought them back to my friends to eat. My burger was a wreck! The onions were barely noticeable and only on one side of the burger. There was maybe 3 slices of mushrooms despite the additional $2.00 charge. It was missing bacon. I called and shared what had occurred and how my burger was all wrong. I was given excuses about a recent menu change and that there had been a rush at the time my food was being made and essentially an apology with an excuse. My friends eat their probably once a week. I was told my name with my friends name would be put somewhere safe and that I could come in anytime for another on the house. Because of that quality business ethic at the time I did not write a review and was saving it for burger I'd originally hoped for. I finally came back to the area today and stopped in to inquire. They did not have my or my friends name anywhere but the cook said they remembered my burger was wrong. Today their remedy was to offer a few dollars off any order. Far from the original rectifying the wrong. While my friends who live nearby may continue to frequent your establishment, I will not be recommending you. I am from this area and I have a travel blog and share recommendations to hundreds of travelers from all across the USA. It's unfortunate you didn't honor your word. And it's unfortunate you didn't make it right. $18 for a burger and I left a $3 tip has left a bad taste in my mouth. I showed them the previous review and their response and asked if they wanted to make use of the opportunity. I told them what my previous order had been, and they got right on it. I was treated kindly with smiles and asking my preferences. They used clear language for clarifications. The establishment looks very similar to the last visit, however the atmosphere felt more inviting. While I walked around and took a few photos my burger order was cooked. I got it to go. It was still hot when I arrived 10 minutes away. I had nibbled on the fries while I drove. The burger was juicy and all the added flavor bits were there. The mushrooms and onions were done nicely and were of an amount that was evident in each bite. The blue cheese added a nice bite and wasn't overpowering. I appreciated having the bacon on the side, even tho I had said I didn't want bacon. It got nibbled on too. Thank you for inviting me to try again. Thank you for a great dinner. Thank you for being kind. I'll tell me friends to come back too. Best wishes on your new endeavor. I urge you to give an old place with a new set of values a try. Thanks for making it right.“

“I was a little skeptical at first since the café is located on the first floor of a hospital, and it was slightly confusing to find the first time because the directions lead you inside. Just know it’s on the right side of the hospital and has entrances from both inside and outside—once you know that, it’s easy.

The service was amazing. I asked a few questions due to allergies, and the staff was super helpful and honest, which I really appreciated. The atmosphere was a classic café type vibe, quiet enough to study but not uncomfortably silent, with light music and “white” noise. I was able to sit and do my homework comfortably with a delicious brunch snack on the side.

The quiche I ordered was the best I’ve ever had: fresh, warm, and absolutely delicious. I also grabbed an apple juice. I was in a rush and needed a quiet place to study and snack, and this ended up being the perfect spot. I live nearby, so it’s walking distance, and I’ll definitely be coming back. I think more people, especially college students in the area, should know about this place.“

This recent time been total of three times, I had breakfast and really enjoyed it, bacon cooked perfect, eggs over medium(also done right), and good buiscuit. Prior I have had a burger and sweet potato fries. It was really good! Prior to that a french dip, and onion rings (both were great). If you are looking for reasonable good food with easy acesss off the I 5 then you should try here. If local definitely should eat here.“
