“Came in Memorial Day weekend and was able to sit down right away. My girlfriend and I have been here a few times before and usually wait 45 minutes to an hour, so that was wonderful. I had Nebraska corn cakes and bacon, she had strawberry pancakes and sausage. Both were so good. The corn cakes have a crispy somewhat crunchy texture and the pancakes fluffy with very fresh berries. Outstanding food and service was very attentive and friendly. We'll be back again soon I'm sure!“

“Walked up to this place with no expectations. Felt like the menu was a little boring and not expecting much. Got my sandwich and have now found my new favorite breakfast sando. English muffin was more like a homemade cross between a muffin and a biscuit. Sausage patty is thick, juicy with hints of rosemary. I just wish they had a better selection of hot sauce. Will be back next weekend.“

“5 stars isn't enough for this place.
Bertie Lou's truly reflects Portland: small, and a little rough, but fast, with spot on service, and the tastiest food.
If you appreciate the dive bar side of city life then everything about this place is perfect. The tight counter, with seats that move like a rollercoaster, allowing an up close and personal view of the cooks (in the tightest galley kitchen) as they sling breakfast faster than a chicken could lay the eggs they're serving; the back and forth of the friendliest servers I've met (outside of Stepping Stone Cafe) as they chat whilst balancing bundles of heavily filled plates to tables at the rear, all while enjoying banter with fellow diners as we sit, absorbing this activity. It's truly bloody mesmerizing.
I know, we all have our favourite eateries, but I encourage you to find some time to stop here for breakfast (or lunch) and enjoy what may become one of the few remaining vestiges of 'real Portland' dining.
Parking: Plenty of residential parking.“

“A really good, unique breakfast sandwich in a peaceful outdoor environment. The music themed names of the sandwiches are really cute! Their vegan sausage is really good and correctly paired with avocado. They use Just Egg patties on vegan sandwiches.“

“These were the best waffles both my husband and I have ever had and I can’t believe they came from a food cart! He got a savory waffle with bacon and eggs and I got a sweet one with cookie butter, whipped cream, pecans and caramel. Both were fantastic! The waffles are so light and crunchy which completely boggled my mind. Everyone was super friendly too. This is at an awesome food cart pod in se that has covered seating and a fire pit, which was awesome on a cold winter day. I can’t wait to come back and try more things 😀“

“Love coming to this location. We try to come for breakfast every weekend and always sit in Savanna's section. She is super attentive and always cracking jokes. Perfect start to our weekend. Highly recommended the French toast and German pancake.“

“La Provence in Beaverton is our favorite location in this excellent chain, and we always enjoy their wonderful food when we are visiting the area. Their bakery has suppled us with many welcomed hostess or celebration gifts (oh, those macarons!) over the years. The staff is excellent as well (hi, Cory, thanks again!). Highly recommended.“

“Beautiful day in Portland! Clean, welcoming food cart courtyard! Best BLT I’ve ever eaten!! And rose Cardomom latte was divine! What a delightful experience! Amy and Tsunami were engaging and fun to chat with! Do Yourself a favor and stop by! Next time I think I have to try their waffle…but can I resist another BLT?“

“I went there on somebody's suggestion
Good service
Good food
I plan on going back
Maybe not the greatest place to take the kids
For a nice breakfast or brunch with friends
It's perfect!“

“My family and I came here to eat brunch, I had the Mushroom Swiss Burger, both my kids had the Waffle and my wife ordered the Vegan Breakfast Burrito. It was our first time here and we like to try a bite of each others plate besides my wife because she's vegan but everything we ordered was presented well on the plate and very delicious. The waffles had the right amount of butter makes you think your having the waffle your grandma would make.
My burger was not very greasy and they cooked the patty just right.
The only down side which explains the 4 stars I'm giving but I know its nothing the restaurant can do but it is a small restaurant with limited seating and parking is a bit of a hassle unless you park a block or 2 away. It is located in a slightly busy area so there is some traffic and a lot of pediatricians around.“

“I happened to have been using the restroom on my visit there & while using the restroom, an employee did to not wash his hands after he used the bathroom. (I’m sure “it’s” clean but still) I noticed he had just used paper towels to open the door and that was that. I’m going to assume that he probably didn’t wash his hands when he went right
back to work.“

“Biscuits have always been pretty good. The West Linn Biscuits Meat Lovers Omelet was loaded vs the OC Biscuits. But the OC is also very good. Just noticed it was better at this location. Always depends on the cook on duty. The biscuits were soft and dreamy, bacon crisp just like we asked. Overall a very nice breakfast!Service could have been slightly better with coffee (asked twice) and getting us the bill quickly after we said no to extra coffee and asked for to-go box. But still not bad service by no means, just could be a tad more quicker. We will definitely come back here.“

“First time at the Mississippi st location and love it. A bigger space allows them to flex their music theme and show off their brand to the fullest. Still can’t order anything other than the Yoko Ono, surely the best breakfast sandwich in Portland. Love it 💛“

“Bagel was decent cream cheese is fake it was Newfoundland there was dirt everywhere all you have to do is look up it's completely dirty there's hair and grease everywhere if you look anything above the food line it's completely gross they should be reported to the Health Board the coffee was nasty I drank one sip through to it the bagel was decent but they need to clean and tell people that the cream cheese they're using is not cream cheese this Newfoundland I paid for more cream cheese and they put it heavy in front and then tilted it to where there was less in the middle and back so I did not get what I paid for it overall the experience left me mad for $8“

“Great full English breakfast!“
“Biscuits was an overall decent brunch choice. The fries are delicious as well the burger. The omelettes are also a good choice, but I didn’t like the hash browns at all. They could have been a bit more crispy for my liking \\u0026 they were also salty! You get a lot of food for the price. It’s worth trying“

“It's hard to find a good breakfast that doesn't taste manufactured. From the home we walked through the door we felt welcome . Service was great the food came out fast and we both enjoyed our breakfast so much that when I come back to visit I will definitely be back . Best part of course was the homemade biscuits and jam... Yummmmmm“

“Supper friendly and very polite place. The place was very clean and neat. The hot chocolate was a big mug and super delicious.
The steak was extremely yummy. I order well done, usually most places it comes out dried but maybe the chef was in a very extra good mood, because it came out well done and juicy too.“
