“The best breakfast we have had in a very long time. Everything about the Original Pancake House is perfection.
The sausage was so well spiced, the eggs were creamy and way more than 2 eggs in volume, the bacon was outstanding and where do I start with the pancakes?
Fluffy, soft, perfectly cooked and the whipped butter is delicious.
Now the coffee is the topper and yes, it is served with FULL FAT CREAM.
Why don't I live near to this restaurant?“

“Not a great photo but I went to Sunrise Co. for the first time and got the Sunrise Sandwich - delicious! 10 stars out of 10. Highly recommend.

“I tried a waffle with an egg on top and a side of hashbrowns, and it honestly blew me away. The waffle was light and fluffy, with just the right texture, and the egg on top added a really nice savory balance without overpowering it. The hashbrowns were perfectly crisp on the outside and soft inside. I can tell the owner put a lot of thought into his recipes; everything worked together so well. Highly recommend stopping by yourself or with a couple of friends!“

“Whenever I’m in Portland I make sure I have breakfast at Elmer’s before I leave. Our server was Brittany, she was very helpful, friendly and efficient. I will return in March and look forward to dining at Elmer’s again.“

“Food! Service! Atmosphere! And Feeling the immediate homey comfort by staff and customers, was just what two weary travelers needed. Met our niece there for breakfast and totally a joy of a cross country trip. Have been in many places across the U S A; and this one is one of major memorable treats. BTW my niece talked me into to trying your Fabulous (Homemade) Green Monster Sauce on my egg omelette and I havent stopped talking or looking for a duplicate since visiting Portland and I live in Ohio! If any one is reading this as a world traveler, believe me when I tell you If you live, or travel in this area, you gotta treat yourself to one of their fabulous stomach filing delicious entries. Really!. Bravo, I never write any kind of reviews in the possitive, I'm old, so I bitch alot. HAHA; But this place so worth the time, the price and contributing to a small family business. Which I totlally look for in any area I visit. I totally believe in supporting family owned local businesses...not the big Guys! Bravo Midpoint. If I lived in the area you'd know me by name as a regular! God Bless. And hope this will inspire the owner into marketing her Green Monster Sauce. One of the best out there. “Parking is hard to find. Service was GREAT. FOOD was an 8/10. I ordered the Reuben sandwich with fries....the corned beef was tough...not enough thousand island dressing...however, my friends ordered an omlette and a California Chicken sandwich plus 2 champagne glasses...which was all excellent. Cute café and again, EXCELLENT SERVICE. Bonus: Their desserts were nice and fresh !!!“

“My friend Amy owns this sweet little spot, and I absolutely love it here. The waffle with eggs and bacon is always delicious, and their Mexican mocha is my favorite, warm, rich, and perfectly spiced. Such a cozy and welcoming place to start the day. Highly recommend!“

“I was pleasantly surprised with the breakfast I got this morning. Decent portion, fresh ingredients and cooked nicely. Not greasy. reasonably priced options and substitutions. The coffee was okay but not premium which would be something extra enjoyable with breakfast. Overall, I live nearby and the two of us would definitely go back.“

“First time visiting this place and food was amazing! The wait time for the food is about 30min so once ordered I took a walk with friends to get bobba down the street that was a 10min walk there. And 10min back and our food was ready. Staff is friendly as well. Saved this place in my maps as a favorite place! I got the siracha sandwich and side of hash brown. 😋 supper yummy and filled me up!“

“I have eaten here twice now. And I really like the cozy, welcoming atmosphere. They have 3 or so vegan breakfast options, and more vegetarian. I have tried the vegan breakfast burrito and the vegan tofu scramble. Both are really tasty, they also do a variety of freshly made juices and smoothies. Enjoyable place, always happy to spend my money there.“

“A couple months ago, I came to this establishment and meant to write a review because the host was awesome! He was very welcoming and set the tone for the way how our experience was going to go. The waitress was very sweet. Breakfast was delicious. I ordered a chicken fried steak and it was so yummy and I had plenty for leftovers. 10/10 would recommend. The hospitality has not died at IHOP :)“

“My friend and I visit here every Friday evening. The staff are always friendly and accommodating. Especially Jason. He remembers regulars, and is very genuinely caring about the people he serves. The servers, including Lupita, are very prompt and nice. Your drinks never go empty! We prefer this location because it’s not only open until 10pm, but because we have had such pleasant experiences with the staff. Food is pretty darn good too! Fresh breakfast meats and French toast! Thank you!“
