“My friend and I visit here every Friday evening. The staff are always friendly and accommodating. Especially Jason. He remembers regulars, and is very genuinely caring about the people he serves. The servers, including Lupita, are very prompt and nice. Your drinks never go empty! We prefer this location because it’s not only open until 10pm, but because we have had such pleasant experiences with the staff. Food is pretty darn good too! Fresh breakfast meats and French toast! Thank you!“

“Cute little place that smells like delicious food! I kept it simple with just sunny side up eggs and home fries. The eggs were a tad runny but they were so good I didn’t care. The home fries were a winner! So good and so well seasoned. I saw the eggs Benedict go out and I kind of wish I had ordered that they also looked great! A lot of regular customers come in and the staff all know them and their orders which is really cool I don’t see that too often. Oh and they have nice outdoor seating for larger parties. If you’re short on time but starving definitely stop here, good food and it’s served quickly.“

“Food! Service! Atmosphere! And Feeling the immediate homey comfort by staff and customers, was just what two weary travelers needed. Met our niece there for breakfast and totally a joy of a cross country trip. Have been in many places across the U S A; and this one is one of major memorable treats. BTW my niece talked me into to trying your Fabulous (Homemade) Green Monster Sauce on my egg omelette and I havent stopped talking or looking for a duplicate since visiting Portland and I live in Ohio! If any one is reading this as a world traveler, believe me when I tell you If you live, or travel in this area, you gotta treat yourself to one of their fabulous stomach filing delicious entries. Really!. Bravo, I never write any kind of reviews in the possitive, I'm old, so I bitch alot. HAHA; But this place so worth the time, the price and contributing to a small family business. However, the last few months I've shown up 6 or more times during the posted operation hours on the weekend to find the truck closed. I often look to see if social media says anything about a closure before leaving and there's never a mention so its been a gamble as I live farther away.“

“I tried a waffle with an egg on top and a side of hashbrowns, and it honestly blew me away. The waffle was light and fluffy, with just the right texture, and the egg on top added a really nice savory balance without overpowering it. The hashbrowns were perfectly crisp on the outside and soft inside. I can tell the owner put a lot of thought into his recipes; everything worked together so well. Highly recommend stopping by yourself or with a couple of friends!“

“Best GF breakfast sandwich in Portland! I had the Huevo Mutilation on gluten free bread … yall, So good! The egg was cooked perfectly runny, they TOASTED my bread which is a huge thank you. The sausage was a good portion and so flavorful. The cheese perfectly melted. The aioli sauce had a nice spicy kick and the caramelized were in fact so carmely. Breakfast is one of those foods we’re I’m often underwhelmed and think… “yeah I could have made better at home”. But this was worth it!

The town square is spacious and easy to find/ park. Also makes for a great place to share the gospel and feed the broken hearted.

“Food is delicious! The restaurant seating area has a mixed diner and restaurant feel with some outdoor seating. The staff, however, can be really rude and the wait time for a sandwich is exceptionally long. But, again, the food really is delish!“

“I've driven or walked by this place hundreds of times. I was looking for a place that was (a)wheelchair accessible (b) close parking (c) table accommodation for a wheelchair. (d) great food. We got it all! While parking is tricky, we did get a street spot right next to the two entrance steps and not far from the ramp. Staff was kind to happily pull away chairs for our wheelchair friend and it was easy for all of us to be comfortable. The food was excellent, strawberry waffles were great as were our basic breakfast plates. Plenty of food, reasonable prices, prompt service. While their reputation proceeded our visit, it was so nice to enjoy a meal without a production or having to explain our accommodation needs. Thank you!! You're on our regular rotation now.“

“This little diner in heart of North Portland has the most amazing food . The customer service was excellent and the owner is very friendly. The prices were very reasonable and everything we ordered was delicious. Their chicken Alfredo is top notch and their burgers are perfectly made. Their open from 8am to 8pm mon through saturday and 8am till 3pm on Sunday.“

“First time in Oregon. The stars for reviews should be higher than 4.3 because this place was amazing! This place has a diner feel with excellent service and attentiveness but the food was on a better level than the type restaurant it is! Pistachio filled French toast! OMGGGG!!!! I’m trying to get back there in the morning for more! The grown up grilled cheese sandwich was better than I imagined and definitely bigger! I still half the sandwich for leftovers tonight! Leah was our waitress. She suggested I try a sample of French toast and I’m glad she did. Roger was not our waiter, but our “after brunch”conversation about Oregon was exactly what I needed to push an extended visit to Oregon. He suggested Astoria, the beach and the waterfall. Now I’m planning a week’s vacation for Spring. 10/10 is my review!“

“I have eaten here twice now. And I really like the cozy, welcoming atmosphere. They have 3 or so vegan breakfast options, and more vegetarian. I have tried the vegan breakfast burrito and the vegan tofu scramble. Both are really tasty, they also do a variety of freshly made juices and smoothies. “Came here today to try the new Stuffed French Toast and our waitress was awesome !!! She was super friendly and smelled so great I had to ask her what she was wearing, and she took the time to share with me what it was and where she go it...and before our food arrived my bf had ordered it for me :-) We were able to order one of each flavor 1 blueberry & 1 strawberry of the stuffed French toast, it was pretty busy and our order came pretty darn quick, AND IT WAS YUMMM and our waitress checked on us like 3 times with a smile, even tho it was busy, I feel horrible cause I cant remember her name and I had asked her twice when we left, but it was a unique name that started with a K. It has been years since I had been here but it has gotten remodeled and its a nice upgrade 😉“
