As a chef, I appreciate good food and the knowledge of food preparation and both of them have that. Further, her brownie is absolutely the best I’ve had and I’ve made hundreds of them. If their prices didn't continue going up, I would probably make this a more regular occurrence, but it's hard to justify spending $6.50 for a singular item that is 100% a luxury. The luxury is delicious and I'm sure it is well worth it. But like I said, definitely not something that becomes easily obtainable and or affordable regularly. This is meant to be a luxurious treat“

“This is definitely an experience more than your everyday bakery stop. The options are somewhat limited and the price is slightly higher than other bakeries I go to. That being said when you see the pastries you understand why. They are beautiful works of art. There's a bit of savory to go with the sweet. The espresso I had was fantastic. The space is a bit narrow and indoor seating is limited (there's some outside tables as well). Overall it's worth the visit when you feel like treating yourself to something new.“

“I've never taken the time to write a review for any business, but am pretty put off and have the time. Today is my husband's and my 11th wedding anniversary. We had Saint Cupcake at our wedding with a cupcake tower and wedding topper cake in 2011. To celebrate our 11 years of marriage, we went to go pick up cupcakes. Based on online information and the sign on the door, the business closes at 5pm on Saturdays. We arrived at 4:20PM - 40 minutes before closing. Both doors were shut and locked, but there were two employees inside and cupcakes on the back counters. They ignored us, even though I attempted to open each of the double doors - they wouldn't even look up. I knocked on the door and the woman sweeping reluctantly came and opened the door and told us that they had unfortunately closed early due to some issue. I tried to explain to her we were celebrating our wedding anniversary and had had Saint Cupcake at our wedding 11 years prior. She said they didn't have much of a selection left anyway and closed the door on us. It was a shocking and weird interaction and I was really put off. I will never go out of my way to give Saint Cupcake my business again in the future. 👎👎“

“I writhing this to let everyone know that Oyatsupan Bakers (specifically Beaverton store) is my go to place. A little background, my wife last Christmas went through a very serious set of surgeries that kept her in the hospital for a month. We preordered the Christmas set thinking we were both going to be able to enjoy it. Unfortunately I was the only one to fully enjoy the set (which was amazing btw) when I picked it up I was upset that I couldn't share it with my wife. Fast forward to today we preordered the 4th of July set . When I picked it up they remembered us! The woman who handed it to me said she hopes that my wife can enjoy it this time because she recalled our previous business. It was such a kind gesture I was speechless and could only say thank you. I have never felt more seen and cared for from any business Ive visited before. So THANK YOU Oyatsupan in Beaverton you made my day and you have a customer for life! 💗“

“I went for the biscuits & gravy: Creamy, well-seasoned gravy generous with the sausage; big biscuits with a bit of crust--some of the best I've tried--and the prices are very reasonable. It's a quaint bake shop with seating where the owner anticipates regulars' coffee orders. Proudly queer-owned and adorable, complete with a small shrine to Paul Reubens. Feels very much a part of the neighborhood: a spot beloved by locals that the rest of us should feel privileged to patronize.“

“I've been gluten and dairy free since 2021... not by choice. That's also the last time I had baked goods that actually tasted like they were supposed to. I tried several items from Gem Bakery including: cupcakes, chocolate cake, glazed donut, caramel brownie, chocolate cookie, and bagels. Oh my goodness, they were just how I remembered them tasting! Texture was spot-on, flavor was delicious, and I wouldn't have known the desserts were gluten and dairy free at all. There were no gritty or gummy textures in the wheat flour replacement and there wasn't an overwhelming coconut flavor where dairy was replaced. I hope to return to this basket every time we visit Portland!“

“Delicious! Reignited my love for red velvet. That always used to be a favorite of mine but I stopped liking it when it got popular because people would make it too sweet or too cheesy. This red velvet is perfect! The Pink Champagne cupcake is probably the best cupcake I've ever had. The champagne goes perfect with the berry preserves. I'm also usually not a dessert bar person but these bars are really tasty. The Debbie bar and the Gooey bar are my personal favorites. Also love that the bakery has very affordable prices! I don't feel like I've broken the bank to go.“
