Cool work perk means I get to buy birthday pastries for work and Champagne Poetry has been on my list for a while. First, the in-person selection is way better than what's on the website. Second, there aren't enough of us to get everything that looked good 😬 So many AMAZING options!

Great desserts and variety, cute decor, good place for a date or casual hangout
The cheesecake is delicious! Not too sweet with good flavor. The cakes were a bit too sweet for me.

Champagne Poetry Patisserie is a colorful and welcoming restaurant, perfect for those exploring new dining options. The hot pink paint job adds a playful touch to this sweettooth's delight. The Japanese Soufflé Pancakes are a standout, resembling a delicate, syrupy cloud, while the mochi stuffed cookies are to die for. Their Japanese bread is also worth trying, offering a unique and delicious taste. The rainbow crepe cake is soft and creamy, and the ube cheesecake is light, fluffy, and delicious. The shop has a cute vibe and offers many photo-worthy desserts, including excellent macrons and rolls. Inside, there is plenty of room to navigate, but the atmosphere can be a bit busy, and service may be slow at times. Some areas looked like they were being renovated, but the open space remained charming. Prices tend to be on the higher side, around $10 to $15, and portions are small, especially for decorative desserts that are mainly mouse-like with jam filling. While the desserts are tasty and visually stunning, the flavor can feel one-dimensional, and the experience seems to focus more on photos than taste. The staff is friendly, and the location in Hawthorne makes it convenient. Wheelchair access is available with two doors, though neither has a door opener. Despite some minor drawbacks, Champagne Poetry Patisserie remains a fun place to visit for a sweet treat and a memorable photo session.
