El Sol de Mexico is our family's favorite restaurant. We were saddened when the store in Tualatin closed. The store in Tigard is a longer drive, but the food is worth the drive. We have always been greeted warmly and feel like family. The food is wonderful and portions are generous. In over 25-years we have never been disappointed in the food or the service.

Based on reviews, El Sol de México offers great food and service. The tortilla soup is a favorite, and the mole enchiladas have a delicious sweet mole sauce. Portions are big, and they keep refilling chips. The hospitality is a nice touch, with a warm welcome and sweet vibes. The staff provided excellent service, even making a breakfast burrito that was not on the menu. It is a perfect place for a family night or date night. El Sol de Mexico is a family favorite for over 25 years. The food is wonderful, and they have never been disappointed. The store in Tigard is worth the drive.
