“I had an amazing experience at Applebee’s at Gateway! Shuranna Knepper was absolutely wonderful friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect. I ordered the wonton tacos, a quesadilla, and a drink, and everything was delicious!

“My sister and I got our usual stellar reception on May 28th at our Clackamas Applebees. Rowan greeted us warmly and escorted us to our table, staying with us for a few minutes to chat and make us feel even more welcomed. Jaz came to handle our orders, warmly welcoming us and regularly checking on our satisfaction. With both Rowan and Jaz, even though we had just met them, we were treated like frequently visiting friends. The employee friendship between them was clear, which shows that the management of the Clackamas Applebees is very positive and emoloyee-supportive. This Applebees is always spotless and efficiently run, even when a large group comes in. The meals are superb. I'm not a steak eater but I tried their Six Ounce Sirloin with Double Crunch Shrimp. I haven't had a steak that perfect in years at a restaurant. I ordered mine medium rare; the color and sear were spot-on, resulting in exactly the kind of delicious tenderness and flavor I hoped for. The shrimp were plentiful and perfectly seasoned. The garlic mashed potatoes perfectly complimented the rest of the meal. The broccoli - I was amazed. Two very expensive steak houses within 30 minutes of Applebees just cannot do broccoli like this- Applebees does it perfectly. Jaz knew how their chefs prepare their broccoli, beginning earlier in the day, so it comes to your plate full of flavor and deliciously tender. We come to the Clackamas Applebees several times a year, and now I have a new dish to look forward to. The bathroom requires a code, so you won't run into problems there.“
