“Great atmosphere and drinks. Amazing Latin American food, with a diverse staff and clientele. I love the fact that they show music videos in a chill environment. Just the place Portland needed. Also, a great addition to the block- bringing more love to the other neighboring businesses, and bringing more people to go out with friends on the East Side. Keep up all the goodness. Thank you.“

Doc Marie’s Bar • $
203 SE Grand Ave, Portland

“Really cool vibe, good drinks. Music was a little loud for talking near the bar but there’s spots to go it’s quieter. Looks like they’re having a few events soon I’ll try to come back for. Oh and the staff were all super cool and welcoming.“

Silverado Gay Bar • $$
610 NW Couch St, Portland

“When Silverado moved to this newest location, it was rather disappointing at first. I'm happy to say they have really improved over time. The staff and vast majority of the dancers are friendly. A few dancers are a bit to forward trying to get your tips, and I get the occasional cold shoulder when I do tip, but won't begrudge an entire place for one bad attitude.Anyone leaving a negative review talking about how rude the staff was... I of course cannot confirm every individual experience, I could almost guarantee it was because the reviewer was behaving disrespectfully and/or not tipping. Seriously people, why are you showing up to a strip club demanding world class entertainment for free? A few dollars here and there is all it takes, you don't have to break the bank. Can only go as high as 4 stars though because the energy can vary dramatically from night to night, and there have been a couple nights that were extremely lackluster. Not directly the fault of the club itself, but can still sour the mood if you were wanting a fun night out.If you're looking to try it out for the first time, I recommend going during Pride or similar event night. More likely to have a larger crowd and better energy.“

Eagle Portland Gay Bar • $$
835 N Lombard St, Portland

“This is a great bar. It brings back the feel of an old leather bar or bear bar with imagery on the walls and TV's to really set the mood. This is a great place to cruise or just play a game of pool. The drinks are good and the NA beer selection is one of the best in town and the owner and patrons are friendly. The patio is large and the inside is small so dress for the weather if you want to be outside and not under the heat lamps. I just find that a good reason to wear leather to the leather bar though.“

Deluxe Smash Burger

“An incredibly welcoming bar. No matter who you are, you are greeted warmly as a guest. The food has been a bit uneven over the years (we have been neighbors since they opened) but looking good these days. I always am happy to saunter over for a beer and some lively conversation. So happy they are here.“
