This bar's got a fun dance floor, good music, and different spots for various noise levels, even pool tables. Plus, I love the friendly staff, feeling safe, and the clean vibe.
We're a visiting lesbian couple from out of state. We loved the vibe and energy on their Friday night drag show! Dance party immediately following, we had a blast!
Great atmosphere and a wonderful Drag show, but the kitchen was out of most of the food or at least they couldn’t make it, which was a letdown

Badlands Portland is a gay bar that also hosts a lot of weird straight men. The drinks are great and the bar tender is great. The drag show is spectacular and drag karaoke is very fun and high energy. The KJ and drag host are both very friendly and charismatic. However, one of the opening bar tenders has about as much personality as a lump of coal and is unfriendly. The liquor is watered down and the music is more appropriate for a retirement cruise. Friends have been groped, and an assault happened in the bathroom. A specific meal is not mentioned.
