“Shockingly good. Like, I am so glad I happened to wander in! It's a Chipotle- or Mongolian BBQ-type setup where you select your ingredients and they are prepared for you into japchae stir fry or stew. But it is executed really well with amazing flavors and truly interesting items to select from. I got lotus root in my stir fry, there are a couple different mushrooms to select from there are proteins like shrimp and lamb and others, several types of greens and even the cabbage is available in full leaf or shredded format. You can really make this dish your own. I will say that even the number one is a fair amount of heat. But I'm telling you, the even with my nose running I was looking forward to every fork full.I really don't care about atmosphere so I just default gave it four stars. But the food and the service really deserve five stars.“
“Has a little bit of a hole in the wall feel to it but amazingly good food. Our table ordered a variety of things and we did family style. It gave us a lot of opportunity to try a different things. I highly recommend it. You know, the family style part and also the restaurant!“
“We tried BHP bc Hot Pot City was closed. Oh my. What a treat! If, like me, you are heartbroken that HPC closed, BHP has been waiting for you. Instead of AYCE, they bring out a mass of food. Plenty of beef and beautifully marbled pork. There was a basket of cabbage and bok choy. A tray w tofu, clear noodles, enoki mushrooms, meatballs and tofu sheets. Never had them before and they were quite tasty. And, the handmade noodles!! We had the split half spicy, half regular broth. My brother eats chile peppers whole. He could handle the spicy. I love spicy but next time I will go regular and dip in chile oil. The broth is very tasty even before you start cooking. I wish I saved room to drink it all, but we were stuffed. You could easily feed three and enjoy potsticker and more veggies. We will definitely be back!!Parking: BHP is setback from the street, in the back of the parking lot.i had a navigator who directed me. I would have passed it.“
“Everything was so good. My first time trying and I will be back! I’m a chef myself and I was very impressed! Good quantity. They even stayed open later just so I could pick up my order! If that’s not good customer service I don’t know what is ! I will for sure be back this is my new seafood spot!!!“
“It's been a while since I've been here. We came for lunch, but after the lunch rush so there weren't many people left. They have two options - Mongolian Grill or Hot Pot. We initially wanted the hot pot, but we didn't think we would have enough time to enjoy it, so we opted for the Mongolian grill. There was your standard selection of meats and veggies to choose from. Since it was only us, our food came out pretty quick. The host was friendly and made sure we had everything we needed.“
“Feeling hot pot, but don't want the hassle of gathering a group of friends for all you can eat? Or simply just want good hot pot? Come here. I get the Taiwanese supreme every time because it has a plethora of different meats and delicacies. Always order a side of quail eggs. That meal right there will never disappoint. Don't forget about their other menu items like Sichuan soup and fermented tofu soup, they're great as well. The service is kinda of weird because they give you an iPad to order at the table. This makes it difficult to make special requests and substitutions. However, the servers if you can manage to get their attention.“
“I love this place!! Best Asian food in Vancouver. It’s more expensive, but you actually get your moneys worth. The food is quality. The taste is amazing and it’s consistent. Should I know!! I order the sizzling rice and pork ribs, cilantro beef or spicy shrimp, chili dumplings and jasmine rice EVERY Saturday!! Not even kidding!! And it’s good whether it’s delivered or whether you pick up!“
“I haven't had hotpot this good since I left New York. The broth was delicious and flavorful, all of the food was fresh and tasty. It had a really fun, upbeat atmosphere and was well worth the trip out to Beaverton. Very excited to go back again!“
“OMG, this place was amazing. We went at lunchtime on Presidents Day, so I thought it was a little odd that the lunch specials were not available. That was okay, because the food was so fantastic. Wife had the basil chicken which was one of the best Chinese dishes ever. I had the Lamb with Green Onion, which was good, but I'd try something else next time. I rarely see Lamb on a Chinese menu, so I had to try it. We split some green the green tea. The service was fast and friendly, as were some patrons. A couple guys walked by and asked about the b=Basil Chicken, so we told them it was a must! Huge open space that is unexpected given the outside of the historic Louis Building, built in 1885. We are going back!!“
