“Whoa, this place makes REALLY tasty Lao food. I've become accustomed to subpar Southeast Asian restaurants in Portland, so I really wasn't expecting much when I stepped inside with my friend. The place is really nicely decorated, clean, and cute, which added to our skepticism, as a lot of authentic restaurants tend to be simple or even dingy. They offer a lot of good Lao comfort dishes, for people who are new to the cuisine as well as those who already have favorites. Their special of pork belly fried sticky rice is extremely delicious, packed with flavor and spice in every bite and fresh ingredients. My friend was blown away by the quality of the food, and she's one to be easily disappointed if things aren't done right. It's also fairly priced here which adds to how wonderful the experience is. I'm definitely coming back and trying more on the menu sometime, and I've already recommended it to a couple of people.
Parking: Small parking lot attached to the building and minimal street parking. Didn't have issues finding parking outside the building Sunday lunchtime“

“I’m a big fan of fried/crispy/salt & pepper squid/calamari dishes. Golden Triangle’s spicy squid is some of the best I’ve ever had. EVER.It’s mad spicy for me though so I have to modify it to be milder in heat but it’s still fire nonetheless. It’s going to be hard to go anywhere else for crispy squid! I plan on trying to stop by at least twice a month if not more.“

“Absolutely fire food. I got the basil fried rice, pad Thai, crab rangoon, and Thai coffee. The staff were super kind and helpful, I got great service. I honestly haven’t had pad thai, crab Rangoon, or fried rice this good in years. I don’t live in the area and options for any type of Asian food are limited at home, so I often try new places when travelling. This place is getting saved in my bookmarks so I remember where it is next time I’m in town.“

“Food was delicious!!! Portion sizes were pretty good to the point of me having 2 meals off one serving of something. The spicy rating is reasonable and a 2.5/3 was a good flavorful spice. Potstickers were good and chicken wings were fried amazingly! You have to go to the counter to order, which can make holding your table a struggle but we just went up to order individually. We got there when it was pretty empty and by the time we were leaving the place was busy for sure.“
