The Sports Bra Reviews
women's sports, great food
With all the talk about women's sports, it's great to see a whole bar dedicated to them! Inclusive environments are a must, thank you for being a safe and fun place for my community.
VERY disappointing. Today we brought a friend from New York who wanted to see the "great" Sports Bra. No ribs, no burgers, no Philly Cheese Steak. We were told we could use chicken as a substitute so we ordered the Pub Burger with chicken. We were then told they didn't have the ability to make that so we asked what was available besides nachos and a turkey sandwich. The Sports Bra is a small, relaxed restaurant and bar that combines the atmosphere of a wooden sports pub with a touch of feminine energy. It’s a great place to watch women’s sports, with multiple TVs showing basketball, snowboarding, lacrosse, roller derby, rugby, Portland Thorns match, hockey, and softball. The memorabilia and gender-neutral bathrooms, which include feminine products, create a welcoming environment.
The menu offers a variety of delicious meals, including vegetarian options, with plates ranging from $12-26. Highlights include the homemade ranch, Vietnamese ribs, pulled pork slider, and seasoned fries. The restaurant also has a happy hour for those looking to save money. The staff is friendly, but seating can be challenging, especially during busy game nights when the space gets crowded. Some customers feel the seating isn’t very disabled-friendly and suggest adding more comfortable seats for those who are tired from walking around. Parking is available on the street or in the neighborhood across from the restaurant.
Overall, The Sports Bra provides a fun and lively atmosphere for watching women’s sports, with tasty food and good service. Visitors may want to plan ahead or make reservations on busy nights to avoid chaos.
