I live around the corner and come here more than i should. The staff are always so incredibly nice and the owners are great, especially Jesse, she's friendly and actually cares about everyone who comes in.
The pastries are fresh and delicious. Their mocha is the best in the neighborhood!

I went in with my dog to get to go mocha and instantly felt so welcomed and cared for in ways that really mattered. My heart left full.

Based on the reviews, Costello's Cafe and Bakery is a great neighborhood spot with a cozy, quirky vibe and tall ceilings. The staff is super friendly, welcoming, and feels like family. The current owners are wonderful people who showed humanity and compassion during an unfortunate situation.
The food is spectacular, simple yet delicious. The bacon cheddar biscuit was the best food, described as fluffy, crispy, and melting in the mouth with a fire aioli. The banana walnut muffin is amazing, and the quiche is top tier. House-baked pastries are the star of the show, made fresh on site. The menu offers breakfast staples like hearty scrambles and breakfast sandwiches. The coffee is delicious, with an upgrade to Seven Virtues coffee. The side of fruit is fresh. Guests can order and seat themselves, using a flag to get their meal. The ambiance is great for a coffee date, quiet enough to talk but loud enough to laugh.
