“I was recommended this place by my boss, we come nearby occassionally for an education program across the street. Glad I listened.

Man. I ordered the half and half plate, falafel and gyro. The salad, the hummus, the hotsauce, the salad, the bread, everything. I was humming to myself in an empty dining room in joy. My only negative was eventually running out of food. There is an additional joy of having a meal of components. Building up each bite is actually an underrated, fun experience that adds to the enjoyment of making perfect bites, adding/removing things to notice differences in whats loudest.

Service was kind and delightful, what I could only describe as being wholely invited in to someones kitchen.

“Delicious. Syrian/Lebanese - the flavors were smoother/softer than I’m used to. The pita was soft, closer to a fluffy flour tortilla, and the sandwiches we had that came in a pita were actually wrapped in a trifolded pita and pressed like a panini. The felafel were big and delicious. The baklava was in a orange blossom syrup and was perfect. The service was personable and on point. It’s on an active block of N Williams, so it’s a fun area to walk around before/after. Highly recommended.“

“This is such a fun place! the owner and staff made my daughter and I feel very welcome, including her Med alert dog. Their food was tasty and the Bellydancing show was great fun and very entertaining. The place was packed but yet they managed to serve everyone with a big smile. Thank you Aladdin's Cafe. “First-timers today. We ordered the Big Lamb Gyro, dolmas and french fries, and are very happy to recommend this place. Portions were large and the food was extremely fresh, but the thing that impressed me and raises Omar’s versions above other similar places was his seasoning. Subtle, not overpowering, but distinctive. Dolmas touched with just enough lemon, gyros well-balanced with tzatziki, hot sauce and some other flavors I couldn’t quite identify, subtle flavoring of the lamb. I was prepared for a pretty standard, ho-hum gyro, but this was much more. Worth a return trip.“

“I recently attended an event catered by Kabob and was delighted by the variety and quality of the dishes they provided. The choices I made were all vegetarian, but from the comments I over heard everyone enjoyed their non-vegetarian meals as much as I did my plant based one.“

“We had our first meal in Oregon at Gyro Grill. What an amazing way to start our vacation! Food was cooked to order and so delicious. Gyro plate, chicken kebab pita w fries gyro burger and a bubble tea. Both the tzatziki and hummus seemed like they were made on the spot.“

“The Gyro House in Southeast Portland is nothing short of fantastic. It was originally recommended to me from a friend and I will admit it is exactly as he said it was. A fantastic inner city restaurant with excellent Mediterranean offerings.

“Just dropped in for the first time. Got the lamb mezza platter. Amazing! The tabbouleh is wonderfully herbaceous, the falafel is produced in-house and fantastic! Every bite was a wonderful experience of flavor and texture! Full, and very, very, very satisfied. Can't wait for a return visit!“

“I came here with my friend last night and it was bomb. I had the chicken shawarma and it was heavenly, and a huge amount of food. Certainly get what you pay for. I definitely recommend this place and plan on going back to try the Portland burrito and some of the appetizers!“

“Don’t miss this yummy cart in the back corner! If you like a lot of sauces, this is your place. I got the lamb plate and it came with hummus, tzaziki and two other sauces. They have gluten free pita too. It was a lot of food too. And there’s some tables to eat at.

“We pick up take out from here at least once a month. It is always fast and good quality with a large serving sizes. Their chicken shawarma and lamb gyros are my favorites among all the other gyro restaurants in the area. Staff was helpful for dietary restrictions. They have Arabic and Greek style pita bread, which both are good. It is in a strip mall so not much atmosphere but the food makes up for it. My kids really like the chicken shawarma and it is so easy for a quick dinner.“
