“One of the best classy Mediterranean restaurants in Portland! Creative menu, flavorful food & cocktails. You’d never go wrong with any food you order. Love the Affogato here as well.! Must try. Service is amazing & everyone is really kind here. Will definitely go back!“
“I stumbled across Cedo’s a few years ago when I moved to Portland. I looked around at what everyone else was eating, ordered a falafel sandwich with the signature potatoes + hot sauce, and my mind was forever blown. I’ve since also developed great affection for the tabbouleh & hummus sandwich, which is super fresh and delicious (and packs a lemony punch). Eat here if you like local, homemade food in the coziest, friendliest spot around. ❤️“
“The food here is incredibly good. From the hummus an tzatziki, yellow rice, fire roasted vegetables, and lamb kabob, the flavors were amazing. I wanted just one kabob and the owner was kind enough to accommodate me. I will definitely be back.“
“I enjoyed the grilled vegetable platter. Also, the in-house baked, fresh piping hot out the oven pita bread was amazing with the hummus. Save room for dessert because tue baklava is amazing! Everything was so fresh! I can’t forget about the staff. He was attentive and pleasant. I look forward to visiting again soon.“
“I don’t know how authentically Turkish their offerings are, but their döner salads are a cut above salads at other halal carts. You get generous amounts of yogurt dressing, pickles, and olives. They used to include other pickled vege but no longer. Still an excellent halal cart salad. Other offerings are very solid, tho the falafel is a bit blander than other places. The salad is great tho.“
“My family and I had lunch here on Sunday this last weekend, the food was amazing, the staff/owners clearly put a great deal of effort and care into the preparation of the food and it shows. They were so welcoming and attentive; the food was fantastic and portions plentiful. Will definitely be coming back. Thanks!“
“First-timers today. We ordered the Big Lamb Gyro, dolmas and french fries, and are very happy to recommend this place. Portions were large and the food was extremely fresh, but the thing that impressed me and raises Omar’s versions above other similar places was his seasoning. Subtle, not overpowering, but distinctive. Dolmas touched with just enough lemon, gyros well-balanced with tzatziki, hot sauce and some other flavors I couldn’t quite identify, subtle flavoring of the lamb. I was prepared for a pretty standard, ho-hum gyro, but this was much more. Worth a return trip.“
“DarSalam is one of my top two favorite restaurants in Portland. The food is incredible! It's so flavorful and cooked to perfection. You can taste the love in every bite. The shredded chicken plate is my favorite and they make the best falafel I've ever had. Oh, and the soup is delicious! It's family owned and operated and both brothers and sister, Shaimaa, are so welcoming and friendly. I can't say enough good things about their restaurants.“
“So disappointed... That I didn't know about this place sooner!! Last night my husband told me he had NEVER eaten a gyro. I knew I had to correct this immediately. So, I started looking for gyros near me. Now, since he's never tried one, I didn't want him to have a bad first experience that would put him off of them forever since I enjoy them so much. I chose this establishment based on very high google reviews (5 stars) and because it's so close to where we live (5 mins). This place has gone beyond expectations! The food is amazing! Perfect blend of delicious spices and ingredients. HUGE amount of food. It was so delicious that I scarfed it down so fast I got sauce up my nose. I'm so happy that we found this little gem. We will be eating here regularly from now on. Thank you, Gyro Grill Kabob!!! ❣️“
“My boyfriend and I visited from FL and decided to eat here with my mom and her boyfriend. The food was AMAZING! We scarfed everything down very quickly and was so, so yummy! Along with the great food, came awesome customer service! BUT after a long day of flights and only having 2 hours of sleep, I accidentally left my purse under the table! Thankfully though, Noah found my purse after we had left and we came to get it the next day. I am so grateful that they found it, amazing luck we had. So I would definitely recommend eating here for a tasty lunch or dinner, they will take great care of you Thank you!!!!“
“Amazing food! We had the platter that comes with all the favorites and it was the best Mediterranean food we’ve ever had! Highly, highly recommend. And the family working there was super nice to us, even with our toddler doing toddler things.“
“The food was phenomenal and flavorful. They made our food fresh to order and you can tell they appreciate every single customer. Love and affectionate was their main ingredient. We have traveled throughout the states and hands down, they are the best gyros thus far. Definitely coming back to this place before we hit the road again.“
“I've been visiting Level Brewing on Airport for roughly 3 years. There have been 2 staple food trucks at this location, and this is by far my preferred place!Pita Giovanni never misses. Always an abundance of food with delicious flavors cooked to perfection. I've tried many things and have yet been disappointed. The owners are always friendly, and the service is impeccable. It's a hidden gem within the Portland area.Side note: I don't know what the creamy/spicy sauce they give you is, but my god is it to die for. It goes great on/with everything.“
“This is a nice neighborhood deli. Greek and American menu. The Gyro was excellent. My wife had the Chicken Sandwich special and loved it. The beer was nice and cold and the service friendly and efficient. They have an extensive drink list in the room length coolers. Beer, cider, etc. There's a small video lottery machine room and a combo locked restroom. They have an ice cream cooler full of scoop ice cream containers. There are also large cookies for sale. The place is very active with a steady stream of regulars drifting in. It's definitely a multicultural hangout where everyone is greeted like family.“
“What a gem. DarSalam turned a bad night into a great one! Was out with a group of friends for a birthday and when we arrived at the restaurant where we had a reservation…it was closed. No warning. So we walked to DarSalam and they were so nice and we waited for a table for about 15 minutes. Great middle eastern style menu. The mezzanine platter is so good. One of the best falafel in Portland. The tabouli is to die for. So fresh. The chicken kebob plate was delicious with rice and a side of chickpea stew. Service was friendly and helpful. What a great place. We will definitely be back. DarSalam helped make a night ruined by another restaurant down the street into a great night! Thank you!“
“This is such a fun place! the owner and staff made my daughter and I feel very welcome, including her Med alert dog. Their food was tasty and the Bellydancing show was great fun and very entertaining. The place was packed but yet they managed to serve everyone with a big smile. Thank you Aladdin's Cafe. I will definitely be back.“
“I love this restaurant! I come here any time I'm in the area. The food is excellent and comes out quickly. The staff are friendly and the bartender makes great cocktails!Dietary restrictions: Great Gluten Free options and some of the best GF pita I've ever had!“
“Happy we finally got to eat here after it's been on our list for some time. It didn't disappoint. Our server Stephanie was very helpful in giving us recommendations on what to try and she was very personable. We landed on the brussel sprouts, falafels, and lamb belly. The brussel sprouts were perfect, falafels delicious, and lamb belly was probably the best lamb I've had, though I did think it was a little too charred for my liking. My husband enjoyed his hot toddy and my sweet fruity mocktail surprisingly went really well with dinner. They've chosen good pairings. Cute little place too!“
