I’ve been coming to Shorba for two years now, and the kind couple that run it never disappoint.
I’m thankful to live a block away, for whenever my wife, or I, are too tired to cook.
Do yourself a favor, whenever you’re nearby, and try them out.
Bonus - they keep consistent hours of operation!

I liked the service from the employee and the chicken Saj tasted fresh. The outside of this location smelled very bad like something had died. I think they need to figure out the situation with the garbage containers because that lowkey killed my appetite. Chicken Saj cost me $13.
If I could give 10 stars, I absolutely would. Best falafel I’ve ever had. incredible flavor, perfectly seasoned, and such a great texture/consistency. The service was also amazing - even got to try some free samples while I was waiting :) highly recommend!!

The owner is exceptionally kind, friendly, and passionate about the quality of the food. The restaurant offers fresh and lovely food, and the proprietor provides excellent customer service. With its delicious menu and welcoming atmosphere, Shorba Arabic Food is a gem in the Montavilla neighborhood that's worth visiting again and again.
