I'm giving this place 5 stars because they have traditional zhongzi (sticky rice with meat, egg and peanuts wrapped in a bamboo leaf) and it's the only place in Portland ive found that makes it.The duck is good too, although the rice could use more dippings but this place is like a blast from the past : nostalgic Chinese home cooked food with no fancy frills. We heard about this place when I was getting a haircut next door. My daughter asked, "What's that thumping noise?" And my barber said they were chopping BBQ pork next door. And I said "We need to get us some of that BBQ pork." And the barber said "It's really good." And she was right.And of course since my kids love Dim Sum, we also loaded up on Shrimp Shumai, Hom Baos, Sticky Rice in a Banana Leaf and Sesame Balls with Red Bean Paste.
