I had a torta which was good but different, its not your normal mexican tortas you'd expect. Its not a bad thing if you don't mind it when there a twist to traditional Mexican food then you will like the food and flavors there. Its just not what the typical flavors are when your expectations are authentic Mexican food. Its definitely worth trying.
I can't believe I sat on this local gem for years before trying it! Charro's Street Tacos are the best street tacos I've had in PDX.Flavorful meats and generous toppings make each bite a delight. Good people, nice family. Stop and chat while your food is prepared. The food is great, the usual taco truck offerings, done well. This is my go-to spot, walkable for me. I only go to Victorico's or Javier's when the lines are long or this truck is closed (or if I really want chile relleno).Vegetarian options: No real veggie options.
