this was our first time to Jake's and it was a special date night. Service was outstanding, Our server was great at recommendations and making sure everything was okay. We'll be going back for special occasions and for Escargot.

Delicious- menu is a bit limited but still good. They could use an upgrade on the wooden benches- we are only 40 and could barely stand up after sitting on them- it's time for a cushion!

Incredible! Love the western bayou vibes in this place. You can feel the history of guests past in the bar. I was there during happy hour and had a few appetizers, two entrees, and a handful of drinks and only spent $100. Nowadays when you step outside and pay $100 to take a breath, it was great to feel like I actually got great value for my money. Food was delicious as well which was just icing on the cake.

Classic Portland restaurant. Honestly, I thought the food was way overpriced. Don't get me wrong it was good. However, $75/person when it's all said and done is tough to swallow (no appetizers!). Service was good. I'd recommend it once then try something else....there are a lot of restaurants in Portland

A downtown Portland must. It really never fails. Phenomenal spanish coffee, happy hours, and service. Try any of their oysters or Cajun seafood pasta. It has wonderful flavor.
Jeff our waiter was awesome. We eat here all the time. I was a little disappointed in that the crab dip was overcooked and burnt on the bottom and the key lime pie crust was less than desirable. Overall everything else was good and as expected. Kudos to Jeff for being very accommodating and attentive.

Great vibes, fresh fish, oysters and solid drinks. Awesome service. Good at handling our daughter's gf request (Celiac). Steaks were good too. Will do a chilled seafood platter app if requested. This place is an old family favorite and we will be back. Crab cakes were a total failure though. Not much crab and felt factory made. Greasy and not tasty. Hope they fix this menu item.

I sat at the bar, and the service was great. My server had a lot of knowledge and was able to answer all of my questions about the menu easily.Unfortunately, they were out of my first two choices for dinner, so I ended up ordering the Lobster Tails. The lobsters were delicious. It had the traditional clarified butter for dipping and was served on top of shredded cabbage, steamed asparagus, and roasted red potatoes. Everything was good, there was just too much on the plate. It was hard to get to the asparagus and potatoes, and the shredded cabbage was unnecessary on the plate.
