Honestly, Laurelhurst is now one of my favorite places in the world. We started with deviled eggs, mushrooms, and cornbread. Everything was spot on. Then we had some of the best steaks ever. Clearly it pays to have an in house butcher. Wonderful atmosphere, great service, unpretentious, and great value for the quality for what you're getting. Just go. You'll be very happy.

Always very good food whenever we dine there. My only real complaint is the portion size. It's one of those restaurants where you have to pay to get an extra side if you want a decent amount of vegetables with your meat/fish- as they'll include just a few pieces of vegetables with an entree. I spent $60 (with tip) last night in order to have a satisfying amount of food (I ordered two portions of my entree-- burger patty with veggies)... if it were more like $40 total I'd come a lot more often.

Charming place we happen to fall upon through Open Table. Service was wonderful and the ambiance was rustic-industrial, yet relaxing. The wedge salad was amazing. Hanger steak was a little rare for “medium”, chewy in texture and layered over a sauce that was lacking in flavor. The burger was again “rare” for medium-well and had a lemony secret sauce flavor that was “ok”; but not my favorite of burger sauces. The endless tin of fries were tasty and fresh. It was a subpar experience. Not disappointing; but nothing extraordinary.

Started the evening with the signature, Smoke Signals beverage. It never disappoints. The charcuterie and steak tar tar were solid hits for appetizers. The ribeye is so flavorful and tender, it basically melts in your mouth. I cannot do Kim Chi, so our server suggested the sides from the steak frittes be swapped; excellent choice. Finished up with the Goat Cheesecake. All of the reasons I still love this place.

Great service, we went for our anniversary and got a free drink. Sever was amazing and the food was great. With dining out so expensive we found this to be a really good value. We will be going back.

We had two simple steaks ( frites & salad) they were fine, unremarkable. The salad was fresh but the dish is a little over priced for a steak/salad combo The mac and cheese was good, cornbread was great. Service was what it should be for upscale casual. Competent Dining out has declined so dramatically since covid that it's tempting to rave about a place just being normal. Overall very solid We were a little early for our reservation and waited outside, not offering a glass of wine was a missed opportunity for sales ? We'll be back

Our party of foil had a great experience from arrival through the meal, to departure. The drinks were great, limited but good choices for wine by the glass. Amazing service and really good food with only one minor issue. Thanks for great meal !

The food was just ok. We came for a special celebration. The steaks were good, but not worth the price. The halibut came out undercooked, which wasn't a big deal. They made it right very quickly, but when it was fixed the flavor wasn't good. The sun dried olives which I normally like, blew out my pallet. They were too salty for the dish. We did get yummy drinks, and the peanut butter pie, corn bread, fries and Mac which were all tasty. Note: cornbread comes with a pork lard spread which looked unappetizing and didn't taste like much. For $350, we will not be going back.

Covered patio is a great option to enjoy the excellent offerings from this place. The chilled asparagus salad was a nice addition & my ribeye was perfect. Always full but never uncomfortably stuffed, too. Just a great spot.

We went there for lunch & the burger was great. The fries were perfectly crunchy (my toddler loved them). He also liked the grilled cheese with bacon. My man had the turkey sandwich (#4), which was dressed nicely & overall tasty. He enjoyed the root beer too. We’d go back again.

Amazing food and service! It was my birthday dinner and we enjoyed everything except that we were seated on the heated patio, which was comfortable but loud. Thanks for a great experience!
