A nice restaurant. Very expensive for what it is. No ghallaba but the meat was seasoned well.

Probably the best kafta kabobs in and around Portland. With a healthy serving or 4 kabobs and a massive peice of flat bread on to-go orders it's the best under $20 meal to fill the belly. Staff is very nice and great location with easy parking in the lot.Vegetarian options: It has hummus, tabouli, grape leafs, salads, plenty of optionsParking: Plenty of spots in the paid lot, can pay by QR code easily

The food is always delicious here!I'm always happy when Nicholas is part of our planned activities for the day!Generally we are always satisfied with our service, waiting times and food however our last visit April 14, 2024 they had a giant party to serve upstairs and we were all but forgotten. Luckily we had delicious food to enjoy although only 1 of 3 drinks we ordered. And has anyone else noticed their portions perhaps dwindling? We had the kabob salads and 2 of us thought them smaller than before...

Nicholas will be my go to and number one recommendation for anyone looking for a place to dine with a large party. I had a reservation for 17 people and was very stressed about finding a place to accommodate us. Nicholas made the entire process easy from making a reservation to checking out. Splitting the bill was easy with no issues and no deposit required for the reservation. How simple and accommodating the entire experience was took a weight off my shoulders for me to enjoy a fabulous birthday. Also the food was excellent. Thank you Nicholas!

Delicious kabobs with free fresh, hot out of the oven pita bread with a dipping olive oil. The bread is soft and flavorful. The jasmine rice is delicate and a perfect side dish.

Review from my kid: “The food was great for vegetarian options and meat options. It tastes like you’re going to explode with goodness.”He’s not wrong. ?Parking: Half the lot is paid, half is free for customers.

Salad lamb kebab dinner is a winner each time I come. Flavorful seasoning, grilled to perfection. Alcoholic beverages available , patio outdoor seating in warmer weather. The indoor tabletops are a little junky so it’s unpleasantly to put elbows on it for a conversation on them. Needs a little updating. $38 for two meals without drinks. Very good price point for what you get. It was served with a huge oversized pita bread which is always a hit ?

We have been to the Nicholas restaurant 3 times because we LOVE the food. I would give the food 10/5 stars if I could. Last night, Saturday, we had a reservation for a group of 6. We showed up 5 minutes early because the restaurant messaged earlier in the day and firmly requested us not to be late. We agreed and held to our word. Unfortunately the restaurant was so busy, and also poorly managed by an overwhelmed young front of house leader. They didn’t seat us till 25 minutes after our reservation time despite numerous walk in parties being seated ahead of us. Normally this wouldn’t bother me because it’s tough to manage on busy nights, but the firmly worded request asking us not to be late and then making us wait was quite frustrating with little proactive communication from front of the house. We will be back, but won’t be counting on the restaurant for timely reservation seating in the future.

I'd never had Middle Eastern cuisine, and this place did not disappoint! We dined in on a busy Valentine's evening and the service was still stellar. I had a set of their falafel as a starter. Delicious! So herbaceous and flavorful, the dipping sauces too. They also had gluten-free pita to swap out for the free bread and dipping oil they provide for the table! For the main course, I had the chicken shawarma plate. Very tasty!Dietary restrictions: Lots of gluten-free options!

A beautiful location with amazing staff and incredible food. Every item we ordered was delicious and so full of flavor! Plus who can complain about a massive pita. 10/10 recommend.

Delicious Traditional Mediterranean food. I sat at the bar since waiting was a little bit long. Service was perfect at the bar as well and they treat you with a big pita bread & salad. WOW.Prices are just right and for the type of food and portions it maybe be actually not expensive at all. I was already full to try any baklava or Turkey coffee, but next time!Next time I would love to sit on a table outside during summer ??.
