The food was incredible! We’ve been living in this neighborhood for 5 years and for some reason had never been to Urdaneta. From start to finish, every dish hit (or exceeded) the mark! Definitely a top 5 PDX dining experience. We will be back!

Blown away by the food and the service here. I almost didn’t order the gazpacho but it ended up being my favorite dish! Can’t wait to go back.

Great restaurant! Highly recommend it. The Burnt Basque Cheesecake is fantastic! Tried a delicious carrot gazpacho with coconut milk and wild boar stuffed peppers - yum! Vermouth flight was very fun, too.
Had the best birthday dinner here. The staff took such good care of us and each dish blew us away. We got all the vegetarian dishes available and my husband tried 2 recommended meat dishes. We also had the cheesecake. Cannot recommend this spot enough!Vegetarian options: Asparagus, potatoes, chickpeas, gazpacho, bread

The place is casual enough for a weeknight dinner, yet the food was a true celebration of flavors! Every dish we ordered was absolutely delightful! The staff were courteous and attentive. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience.
Service was phenomenal. Food was also spectacular. Each dish was brimming with flavor. The pinxtos are kinda small, but otherwise dish sizes are reasonably generous. Our favorites:SALMOREJO DE ZANAHORIA (on the left in the pic with 2 dishes) - carrot gazpachoMEJILLONES EN ESCABECHE (to the right of the gazpacho) - pickled mussels on a bed of crispy paella socarratPAPAS ARRUGADAS FRITAS - crispy fingerling potatoes on a bed of valdeon (blue cheese) and honey. My favorite, an amazing balance of salty and sweetI also included pictures of the grilled octopus (with aerated potato) and swordfish skewer (on tree stump round)
A+ service and food. I love how they've developed such a creative spin on classic tapa style dishes. Nothing came out as expected but it was very delicious. They had great wine recommendations and a nice atmosphere.

Incredible food and friendly, helpful service.Lots of rich, flavorful dishes with ingredients you can't pronounce (but your waiter will happily explain in delicious detail!)Atmosphere is warm and casual but maybe just a little loud for more sensitive guests. My partner and I found it quite pleasant, but my hearing-aide wearing father would have struggled a bit to keep up with conversation.Dietary restrictions: Tell your waiter about any restrictions; they will talk to the kitchen and bring out a menu they've marked-up to show what is safe, what can be substituted, and what is not safe, given your restrictions.

An excellent meal! Twists on northern Spanish food that both reminded me of the original and added a fresh take.
