“I had the pleasure of experiencing this cozy, rhythmic lounge on Friday night. I have driven past this establishment more times than I care to say but I always thought... I'm going to check them out one day. I'm grateful I finally made "one day" happen. I received the weekly email reminder that The Larry Price Quintet was scheduled to perform. I read the bio and really liked that Larry Price had his students accompanying him. The Venue: Intimate and cozy with a fantastic sound system. The Cuisine: Asian fusion with healthy portions that are huge on flavor! What We Njoyed: Deep Fried Wonton Strips - w/sweet and spicy Asian dipping sauce. 5/5 Suyun's Famous Shrimp Fried Rice (mild and medium) the medium has jalapeño heat and it definitely has a little kick. 5/5 Jamey's Special Wild Caught Rock Shrimp Tempura w/garlic chili aioli, broccoli florets and jasmine rice. 5/5 Lemon Drop Martini and Mitchell & Mitchell Cabernet Sauvignon Everything was delicious and I'm not sure what they season their broccoli with but ummmm yummy! The Performance: Superb.... Standing ovation!! As Jamey mentioned when he introduced Larry Price, "He's been around the world more times than Santa Claus"! Mr. Price certainly has Santa Claus energy and magic on the saxophone. He has to be an extraordinary educator as well since the 4 young men that made up the whole of the quintet sounded as if they have been playing for decades. I wish all of them much success in their future endeavors! The Staff: We were greeted by Jamey when we walked in. The gentleman working the bar, the lovely waitress that single handedly worked the entire venue and the Chef's were all delightful and a major part of why I'll return. “My overall experience was good. I have been here 2x. The first visit was excellent, and I would give 5 stars. Unfortunately, my 2nd visit was not 5 stars. We made reservations as usual, but one person in our party wasn't able to make it. So they downgraded our seats to a circle booth table meant for 2 people. I was not happy but thought we drove far, so let's make it work. We ordered drinks, cornbread, and entrees. I ordered the short ribs. I asked if it was possible to substitute a side and was told no. Ok. I still ordered the ribs. Unfortunately, when it came out, it was fatty. I spoke with the waiter who spoke with the cook 2x. Finally, a new cut was offered, but by that time, I was unhappy. Even though my experience was not the best, I still tipped 20% because it's not the servers/waiters' fault.“

The staff are super friendly, attentive and go out of their way to get to know you and your pup to make sure everyone is having a great experience. We drive 1hr each way each time just to come here! “This brewery is located at 5th street and Spring Garden street. It has a varied menu and I tried the hummus platter which was rich and smooth. Very fresh vegetables and warm pita triangles. A love stout vanilla beer which was smooth n creamy. My friend had an American burger with fries "very juicy" she like the fries too. My other friend had pork belly on bao buns steamed he said it was okay but he isn't pleased with most things unless his Mom makes it. Service was fantastic!! We ate outside in an enclosed area with ceiling heaters. Quieter. Inside there is a rectangular bar and a huge room filled with Highwood and picnic tables with TVs all around. A great place to meet friends and hangout to watch sports. There beers are excellent.“

While their service was warm and accommodating, the cheesesteaks were unfortunately heavily seasoned, even for someone who enjoys a salty kick. We ended up taking half of our meals home, realizing later that we should have spoken up about the seasoning issue.Despite this experience, I'm willing to give Bar Jawn another chance in the future. “I just joined Five Iron Fishtown and I love it. The location is great and I love the vibes of the inside. The hours are perfect as I generally go to use the simulators before work in the morning and work on my swing or play a round. I’ve also had a few lessons with Senior Golf Pro Matt Davis and I can already tell my swing has gotten better. With the technology they have and following Matt’s direction I feel like I’ll be performing a lot better once I get on an actual course. Highly recommend.“

“I recently worked as a photographer at this bar/restaurant space that was being used for a wedding. There is a small space in the back thats great for pictures and small parties. They also have a bar upstairs and ample parking across the street. The appetizers were delicious and creative. Its a nice venue to hold a small event or to have drinks/dinner.“

“Came in to watch the game and was surprised by the food and service. Lo my bartender was very patient and courteous throughout. I had the dry rub ranch wings OMG! Crunchy and seasoned on the outside and juicy on the inside. Great dipping sauce as well which added to the layers of flavor. My burger was the Swiss with bacon and a variety of mouth watery inclusions. Smash burger seasoned just right. I tried the love hazy IPA and it paired wonderfully.
