“Absolutely thrilled with my recent visit to South Philadelphia Tap Room! The highlight of my meal was, without a doubt, their Tomato Soup and Grilled Cheese Sandwich. The soup was a perfect blend of tangy and creamy, with just the right amount of seasoning to elevate the fresh tomato flavor. Paired with a golden, crispy Grilled Cheese that was oozing with melty cheese goodness, it was comfort food at its finest. “This was a great little spot to spend an hour before our dinner reservation. There is both a small bar with beers on tap and coolers with a wide variety of beers, both craft and the regular stuff which my husband was very pleased with. You can just grab what you need and chill. I had a really delicious strawberry NA beer suggested by the staff, really the best NA beer I have ever had. Most of all this is just a fun, relaxing easygoing stop. We had tired feet after several hours of sightseeing and this felt perfect.“

“I hosted my 30th birthday at Jet back in November 2023. The service was extraordinary. From the start, communication with Jet was timely, helpful, and easy. Emily, the manager, was a delight to work with and even made little menus for my guests. The bar packages were extremely reasonable and I was allowed to bring in my own decor and birthday cake. We selected the drink package with a signature drink and the red wine mule was DELICIOUS. The snacks were a hit and everyone really enjoyed the drink options. Adam, our bartender for the night, was so friendly and helpful! I can't say enough about how wonderful Jet is, and I'm so glad we have such a great local spot close-by.My husband and I are also members of the wine club at Jet and they have such a fun wine selection and newsletter. Jet regularly hosts creative events and are such a benefit to the neighborhood.“

“Their beer list was very nice. I enjoyed two different craft brews. My husband and I shared the Mac & cheese and it was delicious. I had the buffalo seitan nuggets and he had their signature burger, which he devoured. I really like that there were some different vegetarian options other than just salad or a plain ol’ veggie burger, and their house made ranch that came with the seitan nuggets was awesome! The atmosphere was really good, and the 60’s and 70’s music that was playing was just so nice for a change.“

Last night was completely different and I thought it was important to say so. The service was attentive. The wine list was expanded and had more affordable options. But the star of the night was the food. Eggplant fritters were crispy outside and pillowy inside and came with a delicious complementary dipping sauce. A charcuterie board is not usually something that excites me. But the selections we tried were transportative. The pecorino tartufo with our Pinot noir were the perfect pair. The other meats and cheese we tried made every bite a party. Our entree selection was the lasagne, which we didn't realize was vegetarian. The dish completely won us over. Inventive and flavorful, the lasagne in not like something you've had before and is a must try! I'm so glad we came back and gave Adelina's another try. Cheers!“

“My overall experience was good. I have been here 2x. The first visit was excellent, and I would give 5 stars. Unfortunately, my 2nd visit was not 5 stars. We made reservations as usual, but one person in our party wasn't able to make it. So they downgraded our seats to a circle booth table meant for 2 people. I was not happy but thought we drove far, so let's make it work. We ordered drinks, cornbread, and entrees. I ordered the short ribs. I asked if it was possible to substitute a side and was told no. Ok. I still ordered the ribs. Unfortunately, when it came out, it was fatty. I spoke with the waiter who spoke with the cook 2x. Finally, a new cut was offered, but by that time, I was unhappy. Even though my experience was not the best, I still tipped 20% because it's not the servers/waiters' fault.“
