“Couldn’t recommend this place enough, and tonight was only my first time there. As a mom of a young kiddo with Celiac, I was so happy by their dedication to keep their gluten free products from cross contamination, from the scoop washing to the glove changing. And the variety of products my daughter was able to get! She has never had a waffle cone in her life and ice cream sandwiches are only from a very very select few prepackaged companies that are impossible to find to begin with and incredibly expensive. “This ice cream shop is cash only .I've been going to that ice cream store since I was a child my dentist was down the street but after I seen the dentist my father would take me up there to get some ice cream to cheer me up they got some great fantastic food as well a milkshakes and they're not like McDonald's and you don't have to worry about the milkshake machine where there's going to be working or not laughing out loud I personally would tell you to go check it out if you're in that area I don't think you'll be a disappointed if you like ice cream and they have many other things to choose from. They're chili dogs are awesome as well they're very close to Page's ice cream store on East Carson Street Becks Run Road stop by today and try a treat for yourself or treat the whole family to a night out with ice cream I don't think you'll be a disappointed one last thing I like to point out this ice cream shop is strictly cash only if they are very busy bring a little bit of patience with you they'll do their best to serve you they are very nice people the staff is always there they want to make sure you're happy when you walk away from that window they can't help the prices went up on things everything is going up. And I do believe most things are price and reasonable but when you want good quality like you said you'll pay for what you want If you want cheap ice cream then go to your local grocery store you want good ice cream then you're going to pay for it. “I love their big rotating selections of vegan flavors. Most ice cream shops you go to only have extremely basic vegan flavors and maybe 1-2 to choose from. Brusters always has multiple incredible flavors that you never get bored of! Plus, the workers are always so incredibly friendly and welcoming as soon as you arrive. “This is a special place. Liege waffles are very different than anything I've ever had. They are made from a yeast dough, with caramelized brown sugar inside, smallish, and served warm in a napkin so that you can take it with you while window shopping. Please note: these are not meant to be served with ice cream on top. The ice cream and waffles are both very good by themselves. The owner only serves them together because people ask for that, but I think they ask for it because they think that's how it's meant to be served. (At least, that's what we thought!)“

“My baby shower was held at The Steeping Leaf. We visited twice before: once for an afternoon tea and once for lunch. Both times beforehand we were met by the owner to discuss the shower. The tea menu is extensive and each time we had excellent tea. All of the food is delicious! For the shower, once we had discussed what we were looking for (Mad Hatter Tea Party), the owner took it from there. We arrived for the baby shower and everything was decorated and set up. It looked incredible! The space is so inviting, the decorations were amazing, food was delicious, and the tea was great as well. I would recommend the Steeping Leaf for breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, and special events. We will certainly be back!“

The elote was delicious and with the just the right amount of fixings. We stumbled across this place on the afternoon of the eclipse and the weather was nice enough to enjoy an outside table. The street was so quiet, with very little traffic except for the street cars that ventured by so we enjoyed the sunbathed table whilst we enjoyed lunch and watched the eclipse. The service was friendly and attentive. This place took us back to the great places we frequent when in Mexico. We're so lucky to have this authentic place here in Pittsburgh.
