I am so thrilled that we stopped in to this lovely restaurant! Everyone was welcoming and friendly, the food was incredible, and the space so bright and inviting. The patio is spacious and evokes memories of piazza dining in Europe. Will definitely be back!

My family has been dining at L' Anima for the last 4 years. They are a hidden gem in Grad Hospital! It is one of my favorite Italian restaurants in the city. They have a great menu with frequently changing specials. The staff is friendly and welcoming! It feels like home every time we go back!

Delicious Italian food excellent service and a well appointed pleasant modern space. The appetizers, pizzas, and pasta were all great. I did not realize until getting there that it is the same ownership as Melograno in Center City, and it is very similar in many good ways. The space is open and comfortable. It's a larger space so the tables are not right on top of one another which was really nice. we came a little early, 6:30 PM for dinner, and so many of the other tables were families with young children. That's neither good nor bad, just likely reflect both the hour and the neighborhood. All in all and excellent dinner and look forward to coming back.

We had an arugula, radicchio and fresh fig salad, the prosciutto & mushroom pinsa, cacio e peppe and the best tiramisu either of us have ever tasted. Liz took really great care of us and offer great advice on menu choices. Co-owner Rose came to our table nd treated these first timers to a rose water pana cotta. Fabulous. Can't wait to return. Ellen Yin's review of them in the Enquirer was spot on!

Most underrated restaurant in Philly serving some of the best Italian dishes. Gnocchi in cream sauce was phenomenal. One of the best pizzas in town. Stop looking at Instagram for restaurant tips. Eat here.
We went on NYE and did their NYE special. I think it was worth it. Good portions, tasty food, and lots of options/variety. I definitely enjoyed the steak. My friend enjoyed the fish. We would definitely go back again and recommend. The customer service was great. It was a bit tight size wise a table for two was a bit tight but like i said it was fine. We thoroughly had a good experience. It’s byob so that’s a huge plus!

Susage pizza with burrata was close to if not the best pizza I ever had. Salads were delicious. The cotoletta could needed a bit more lemon for my taste and the cacio pepe needed pumping up a bit too. But both were still very good. Our friend loved the pork tenderloin. Decor is neither inviting nor offensive. Will definitiely go back for the FOOD and great service!

Not only is the food just utterly amazing the vibe is always great! Not over pretentious at all but super simple yet cute decor... We've always gone for something special and I would love to talk to who does the hiring, every server we have had has been non annoyingly wonderful! Love this place!
