“Seriously nothing bad to say about this place, service was amazing and the food was so so so good, I can't wait to return for another plate soon! Went with my bestie and ordered the half chicken combo and some extra sides (street corn, yuca fries, maduros) and everything was so so amazing, including sauces which were out of this world. I would definitely recommend this spot to anyone, everything was so so good!“

“The food was really delicious here, and I’m glad I went here for my first time trying Peruvian food. This restaurant was recommended to me by my Peruvian friend. My favorite dish was definitely the arroz chaufa de lomo a lo pobre. The steak was extremely tender and juicy and the rice was so flavorful. I also love plantains so that was nice to have. The Pulpo a la parrilla was my second favorite dish I tried, the octopus was super tender and really tasty. The Pollo a la Braza was also good. I did not expect the Pargo a la plancha to have a tomato based soup, but it was decent. The snapper also had way more bones, which I didn’t mind but be aware if you don’t know how to eat around fishbones.“

“I'm Peruvian. The best arroz chaufa I've tried in America. I can finally say that it's like eating Peruvian food in Peru. I came with my boyfriend because his sergeant ? told him about this restaurant. It was so good. We both loved it. He loved the papa rellena (stuffed potato). He says he never had potatoes so fluffy like this, it was an unique experience. He ate it all, even when he hates onions. Hope we can come back soon. We live far away.“

“Bodega style, no frills place but let me tell you, the Peruvian Roast Chicken is phenomenal. I get the whole roasted chicken w/2 sides. Usually the fried rice and pinto beans which I then mix together. Absolutely bursting with flavor. They do roast the chickens whole so the wings tend to be over done but I don't knock them for that, everything else is perfect! It comes with a green sauce that is fresh tasting/creamy/a lil spicy, for me it's a spectacular addition to an already extremely well seasoned chicken. I get the peruvian empanadas when available too. Completely different style than the mexican/Latin empanadas you may be used to. The dough is more biscuit like in texture and has just a hint of sweetness. Give them a try if you're in the neighborhood.“
