When I was but a young nino, my parents sent me to Quetzaltenango, Guatemala as part of a one-way foreign exchange program. For a year, I worked as a de-sucker on a banana farm making 2 quetzales a week. I could only afford to eat tortillas and tarantulas, but man were the tortillas something to remember! Beef Ribs were great. I shared them with a coworker and ordered an additional potato. The tequila martini was excellent. Not very spicy but delicious. The Salsa bar and guacamole were a fun appetizer as well. Wonderful experience and the staff were helpful and lively.
