I got the breakfast quesadillas with a side of grits, both of which were excellent. My friend got the tuna salad which looked hearty and delicious too - will try that next time.“

Off-the-chart meal capped off an unbelievable food day in Charlestown. If I eat another meal this good in this city I may never leave Charlestown. Wow!“

“This place was perfect. Every dish that we got we loved. The service was awesome and so friendly. Loved the vibe of the place too. The menus online aren’t updated and not sure how often items are changed up, but we got the sourdough with jam and pickled veggies, short rib, fish falafel, and mushroom and carrot wellington. For dessert I believe it was a rhubarb, lemon, and curd tart, with dehydrated meringue - I could eat that every day. Would 10/10 get all those dishes again. One of my favorite restaurants I’ve been to. Thanks to the chefs, staff, everyone that made it a great night. You all are the best ??“

“Out of this world. If you are looking for the best spot in Charleston for a wonderful dinner with your partner, this is the only option. The varied dining locations provide plenty of reason to go back for round 2 as well.All of the staff are super professional and knowledgeable. We were greeted with champagne, a rose, and a card since it was our first anniversary. We dined on the back patio which was nice and secluded with only three tables. Every course was top notch and we paired it with a different one of their phenomenal cocktails for each.Seriously this place can't be beat. Stay at 86 Cannon and go here for as many meals as you can.“

“I could not write this review fast enough. We had the pleasure of having Eric as our server last night. What an incredible guy. He greeted us by name, went over the entire menu page by page, offered recommendations for food and drink. We did the chef’s experience tasting menu and it was incredible. Eric went over each course and explained how it was prepared. Our bill after some drinks and tip was a bit over $400 but truly the best money I have ever spent for food and experience. Again, thank you to Eric for making our time in Charleston so memorable and if we are ever back we will be requesting him by name, he was truly wonderful. -The Fees“

“Not gonna lie. Food was very good. Fine dining prices and somewhat limited menu (my wife and i were on the bar side so maybe they have a bigger menu on the dining side) but the flavors and textures of the food as well as restaurant design, music selection and volume and service were all been spot on. We shared the dumplings appetizer. Flavors and texture amazing. Some kind of amazing crunch on the dumpling mixed with a zesty miso sauce that ticked the tastebuds, the pork tenderloin with apple glaze and cauliflower three ways was really fantastic. Crunchy cauliflower, pureed cauliflower were both great, and then the crème brûlée. This is the only thing that was both a hit and miss. It was very creatively presented almost like a terrarium but there were too many things going on. The cake bites were fine (spongy texture) the crunchy caramelized top that you broke to get into the bowl was great, but the “crème” part was way too soupy and the lemon parfait sheet was really cold and didn’t mix well with the other flavors. A+ for trying and presentation. The service was incredible. Each dish was presented by a different server making it feel like everybody was working together to deliver a fantastic dining experience. All in all the prices are high so that I would recommend it if someone else was buying, but couldn’t frequent their despite how great the meal was just from a budget standpoint. But highly recommend giving it a try.“

We had good service but witnessed a few customers coming up to staff saying they needed service at their table. Otherwise we were just fine. Husband got the new Tuna bowl… which was also amazing. I will say my soft soft crab special, being $49.95, should have been disclosed ahead of time (the cost.) I probably would have still ordered as the dish was a ton of food but for others, maybe something to consider. I wish I snapped a pic of it. Broccoli was cooked PERFECTLY and the risotto was sooo good. It had corn and asparagus cuts in it. Amazing. Overall, great experience, with friendly staff.“

However the food is what takes the cake...I got the 'Reindeer Chili' and it was amazing. “Every once in a while you “find” a great place that has been right in front of you all along. High Thyme is one of those places! We came in for dinner for the first time recently and were blown away and couldn’t believe it has been an option for us for so many years and we just have been missing out. The food was incredible, portions generous, service friendly and knowledgeable and the wine was very reasonably priced with great selection. We arrived right at 5 and the dining area had plenty of tables available but it appeared as though the bar may have opened up a bit earlier because every stool was already filled. By 5:30 the dining room was also packed (this was a Saturday night in between Christmas and New Year’s for reference). All in all we are thrilled to find another great spot on Sullivan’s and can’t wait to go back. Definitely aspiring regulars.“

“we dined outside in the courtyard and it was very pretty and romantic, not hot or buggy at all and the service outside was impeccable, I'm assuming as perfect as it is inside. Our server helped us with appetizer and dinner choices which were amazing. Lobster three way, burrata, short ribs, filet oscar style and of course the coconut cake! “My husband and I really appreciate this spot. Its one of the few indoor environments we can bring our little chihuahua pup and have a nice meal. Food has never disappointed, neither have drinks and sometimes there is a lovely pianist playing nearby. Fun to people watch and also usually never a long wait. I (almost) don't want to tell others about it because I don't want the secret to get out :). But I also came to leave a review for Darryl, who was our server on a late evening. He was incredibly hospitable and friendly and he was running around serving us alongside a large corporate group that came in late. “This is a little restaurant in the middle of goose creek. I was out there for work randomly and decided to give them a try after searching for local spots. They have a pretty substantial menu plus daily specials so it took me awhile to decide. I went with the pork chop special with two sides. It’s pretty traditional southern cooking. Lots of fried sides and fried meats. For sides I went with fried squash and Mac and cheese. The pork chops were a little tough but they almost always are everywhere I’ve tried. The Mac and cheese and squash were a little bland to me, but nothing some salt and pepper and Texas Pete couldn’t help fix. I would definitely go back and try some other things if I’m in the area. It seemed like a spot that has a ton of regulars for breakfast and lunch.“

She recommended the rotisserie chicken which of course did not disappoint and was so attentive. The tzatziki was mouth watering and the Mac and cheese felt like heaven.
