Had a chance to try Basil during restaurant week 2024. Starting with the fried wontons (not pictured I forgot to grab a picture before I devoured them) very nice, different in taste because they’re not crab but not different in a bad way. Good portion app with about 8-10 served in it. The Pad Thai and Pad See Eu were both great dishes and very flavorful. With good portion sizes. The food is always delicious! Tried the wontons for the first time and they are an incredible combination of savory, sweet, and tangy! So happy to have this establishment close by!

We went there tonight because we saw $6 wine advertised during happy hour. Virtually every other restaurant on the street had a happy hour. Our waitress told us that it was discontinued after COVID. We asked to see the manager and she ignored us. We paid $9 each for a drop of wine, and our friend got a shot over ice, and they charged him $3 extra for the ice cube. The food was good, but obviously there is a reason they were the only restaurant on the street not packed with people.
